If you would use words from the fighters mouth as betting advice you deserve to lose all your money as you have already lost your brain.

I was listening to talksport straight after the fight and some muppet came on really upset because Hatton said 'put your mortgage on it'.....he seemed really concerned that people might have listened to Hatton.

I thought 'Haha, some people are batshit crazy, one of a kind nutters who come out with statements that not even the most stupidest of people could agree with'.......and then you come on here and repeat what the guy said, what a fucking gorm :rofl

I bet my flat on the basis of what Ricky said.

I don't suppose the council will be too pleased..........

steelem: You are suggesting that Ricky Hatton believed he would win the fight last night? This is ground breaking news!

utterly ridiculous trash talk.

**what does a Hatton fan think about that comment? I'd really like to know.

as an American fight fan I think it's one of the more ridiculous pre fight comments I've heard.

right up their with "my heart will explode before Mayweather beats me"

If anyone actually took Hattons advice and bet on him to win then they deserve to lose every penny they put on. Idiots

Hatton should be ashamed of himself for that performance. It was so bad, its untrue.

No shame in getting KTFO by the P4P king, but come on... no need to make it easy for him.

Isn't that the kinda shit that all fighters are supposed to say? He can't go into the fight like, "Look, you'd be well served to put your money on Pacquiao cuz I'm finna catch an ass-whoopin'!"

GPater11093

Probably did on a round 2 stoppage win for the Pacman. Him and Ray are probably now couting their winnings.

his fiance diodnt seem to be in on it then

granted shit talk in boxing is not at all a new thing

but weather it's a "British thing" or not saying "bet your mortgage on it" IMO seems like a very arrogant thing to say.

especially when you consider how the fight turned out.

but even before hand, some of Hatton's trash talk I found funny.

i.e. "my heart will explode before I lose to Mayweather"

or my personal favorite "December 8th will be the end of him"
