For the following ATG Heavyweights list a contender or inferior champion eg Valuev, while not as good a fighter as the ATG, would be stylistically a niightmare for them. Ive done Tyson as an example.
Jack Dempsey
Joe Louis
Rocky Marciano
Muhammad Ali
Joe Frazier
George Foreman
Larry Holmes
Lennox Lewis
Mike Tyson - Valuev would be a bad one for Mike, as he didnt like taller fighters who could jab him at range. Valuevs weight advantage would mean Tyson wouldnt be able to back him up , and his sheer strength would make it possible to begin to put Tyson on the back foot, something that Mike didnt like.

I'll do it for Joe Frazier.
Lennox Lewis
Sonny Liston
Vitali Klitschko (at a lesser extend)
George Foreman
These man are big, strong, rangy, and have the power to put Frazier on his ass.
Smoking Joe could never beat these guys.

i agree with that but i was looking for fighters who you wouldnt consider all time greats, lewis foreman and liston are definitely all time greats.

Bah! Frazier would have decapitated Lewis.Don't confuse Lewis with being in the class of Liston or Foreman.Lennox isn't one of the greatest, he's just one of the latest.
And to think Quitchko would be competitive with a prime Joe.Egads!

A guy like Boncrusher Smith who wasn't an all time great might have given Frazier trouble. He was 6'5" 235 Lbs in his prime, and could hit like a truck. He had the abilty to go rounds with great fighters, and even destroyed a few good men like Weaver and Bruno.

Dempsey Would Destroy Valuev As He Loved Fighting Bigger Slow Guys It Would Be A Bad Fight For Rock As He Was Stubby Armed And Was A Slower Straight Forward Fighter I Would Like To Say He Would Catch The Giant With Suzie Q But The Ref Might Stop It Before Hand If V. Jabs Cut His Delicate Face From Walking Thru Shots .i Think Frazier Would Have A Tough Time Getting In Also

Jack Dempsey - David Tua
Joe Louis - Jimmy Young
Rocky Marciano - Tyrell Biggs
Muhammad Ali - David Tua
Joe Frazier - Bonecrusher Smith or Tony Tucker
George Foreman - Vitali Klitschko
Larry Holmes - Zora Folley
Lennox Lewis - Max Baer
Mike Tyson - George Chuvalo (he would still lose in a one-sided fashion, but Mike may get a bit frustrated).

That's an interesting and innovative list of foils.
