Beat Ricky Hatton on that showing,
He is just as fast as Manny Pac, has a bigger reach..and good movement.

If Khan fights like he did against Barrera and manages to keep his chin out of the way I have to say I agree.
It would be pitiful to watch though.

Hatton may have lost there but he's a different league to Khan.
Hatton would smash Khan's teeth through the back of his head.
Don't think Kahn would have went to meet Hatton like Pac done i think Hatton would KO him but he has a chance now (something i didn't think i would say for awhile)

Think I'd back Khan to beat the Hatton that got in the ring last night.
Hatton would never get in the ring with a Khan or a Witter now though. No shame in his two losses to the P4P no1, but I dont think he would risk losing to a Brit.

Wouldnt be good for the sport to see Khan vs Hatton anymore... if Khan intelligently boxed with a good Roach Game Plan... it wont be good for Hatton.

if they fight - British Ref - Allows Hatton to do his rough tactics on the inside working Khans body... Its a closer fight because Hatton has lost a lot of punch resistance... and is very stupid in his "method" of fighting....Khan if he listens to Roach has the potential to easily beat Hatton

He does but he doesn't hit ad hard as manny, is chinny and Ricky wouldn't be coming of a fight were he was cut and made to look stupid by a mexican journeyman.
Roach could help Khan win this fight but if Ricky lands first and don't think he can't. It's night night Amir. Hatton did rock pacman last night despite being out on his feet.

You people are out of your fucking minds. Hatton could ko khan just by looking at him.

Errm did you not see the fight last night? :deal
Hatton tried very hard against Pacquiao. He was outclassed, but showed courage and determination. He made contact a few times. Khan hasn't got the agility of Pacquiao, the punching power, punch resistance or speed of mind. I think Hatton would put too much pressure on him, and stop him.
It's not likely to happen though. From the Times -
While Roach has improved Khan, he is not sure he could improve Hatton. “At this point, he’s probably stuck in his ways,” Roach said. “I hope he retires because it’s a hard game and he has achieved greatness. Why go on?
“I know Amir has the right style to beat Ricky Hatton, but I don’t want to see that fight happen. I like Ricky. It would be good for my kid, but I don’t want to see anyone get hurt. Knockouts like that are not good for people, so he should consider retirement. It’s easy for me to say, but I’ve been there and I didn’t quit. Maybe I should have.”

Yeah. He was outclassed. But people are reading far too much into how early the stoppage was. You can get stopped in any round if a powerful shot finds the sweet spot. I thought Hatton was more outclassed in round one than round two, actually, but the big hit came through a window that Ricky was stupid to leave open at the very end of round two.
Either way, Hatton would still obliterate Khan.

i think........................if khan had a granite chin ricky would still have a massive chance, just coz khan is too predictable and cant punch to save his lifee

Yeah. Are you trying to suggest that Khan is anywhere near as good as Pacquiao or hits anywhere near as hard?

It's an intriguing theory I must say. You have to remember that these are two men who are at very different stages of their careers now. There's no telling how much a loss like that will take out of Hatton. Khan is young, strong and determined.
My dream scenario would be for Khan to fight Hatton (assuming he beats Kotelnik) with the winner taking on Witter for WBC/WBA titles (assuming Junior beats Alexander). About as likely as an unlikely thing though.

I'ma big Hatton fan,
But I have to say I would give Khan a very good chance of beating Hatton........ Hatton has lost all his punch resistance and Khan would pick him off until a KO 4 unfortunatly

A prime Hatton would be very lucky to see the full 12 rounds out against Khan. The current shite version would be KTFO mid fight.

Errm did you not see the fight last night? :dealErm, i'd also say theres light years between pac and khan. Boxing fans are the most fickle fuckers going. He gets starched by pac so khan would do the same, is that what ya saying

The current shite version would be KTFO mid fight. You are joking aint ya ?Whats written in your avatar explains it though i think, blinded hatred.Khan has shown absolutely nothing in any of his fights to suggest he stops a prime hatton.Khan if he wins, will be the same weight as pac, will hold a version of a title at the same weight as pac. That fight could'nt be made due to the difference in class which is blatantly apparent, they would'nt even take the fight.

Absolutely ridiculous to imply that a defeat by Pac in whatever round, suggests Hatton would lose to Khan.

Khan has shown he is a fast handed boxer with decent power and his has a good size advantage on Ricky.
Ricky loses bad when he steps up in class and although Khan is far from a finished article I am sure Roach would give him the plan to make the fight short. I doubt Ricky would be quick enough to land a punch.
Pac is a great p4p champion and is a far better fighter than Khan currently is but the manner of his trouncing of Ricky shows how poor Ricky is and the real level of fighter Ricky is. 5/6 month down the line this fight would be mega and another great build up fight before Khan faces the tough opponents.

Khan is even faster than Manny Roach has even gone on record and said this, Khan is also bigger than than Manny at 5'10, With the right gameplan from Roach Khan can pull it off and even make it look easy just like Manny.
Funny thing is lots of Khan's haters will not be able to take that young chinny Khan can beat British No.1 Hatton, who know at 140 Khan's chin might hold up a bit better. Anyway Hatton has to find that chin first, Khan's improved defence and fast feet would keep him on the move and pick Hatton off coming in out of range.
In terms of boxing skills Khan is already ahead of Hatton, Khan combos are very underrated.

Hatton caught Pac solidly in the 2nd.
Khan would have been out of the fight there and then.

It's a measure of Mr Hatton's decline that this fight is being mooted. Mr Khan is not a big puncher per se; a prime Hatton would simply walk through Khan's shots to land one of his own and that would be that. I don't think he can do that anymore.

If the Hatton from Sat. was fighting Khan, then yes, Khan would beat him.
