As stated by John he is eager to fight lindsay as he wants the british belt back.
"I want the British belt outright. I was close before but I am so determined to win it and defend it three times.
"I took it for granted the first time I won it but not now. I phoned Alex right away and said, 'Sort it out'. I know I had a bad night against Appleby but I can box 10 times better than that.
"I'm not scared of anybody, as my record suggests, but that might not be the case for them." The rowdy Belfast crowd inspired Lindsay to success at the weekend but that sort of reception doesn't exactly reduce Simpson to a sweat.
He said: "If they want to fight me in Belfast that would probably suit me more. I love fighting away from my comfort zone. Some fighters get scared by crowds like that but not me.
"I have absolutely no problem going and boxing anywhere. I actually prefer boxing away from home because there is less pressure on me.

what are peoples views on this?? I was totally over the moon about lindsays win he was superb and paul showed he was well out of his league, and i agree simpson was not himself on the appleby fight and should still have the british belt, but thats how boxing goes, win some lose some :-(
So what do we think? Will lindsay accept the fight and fight for the three belts? john is very keen to get the belt back and if this fight goes ahead whats peoples views on a verdict?
