more and more as time goes on, I still rack my brain trying to figure out who in the world could possibly come close to beating this man in full contact, and I still havent found an answer. though this was a mere exhibition displaying skill, rather than force, i am amazed how phenomenally fast Fedor is.
Thanks for the post been wanting to see this video. Fedor is the total package, speed, technique, power, mentality and attitude. I'm not sure who if anybody can or will beat him but at this point I'd say its going to be someone who nobody expects or has probably as of yet even heard of.

yeah, and that will be by knock out that's sure. I don't see no man pulling a quick sub off him or him loosing a decision in his prime.
No I don't either. Some unknown will KO him out of nowhere!

Everyone is beatable.... Whether we're talking about Fedor , Pacquiao , mayweather... they all have their weaknesses... The problem is to find a way to exploit these weaknesses during the fight...
all the training in the world...all the gameplans in the world aren't enough to beat these rare specimens... you have to fight the fight of your life...(like crocop did for his fight in 2005...but he couldn't keep up with fedor's workrate...)
either that or a huge upset....(something unexcpected...) kinda like what happened n his fight vs Fujita... or his 2nd fight vs Nogueira (fight was stopped because of a huge cut)....
then again , there's no real merit if someone beats him via cut...(kinda like what happened in his fight vs Tk )...
I wonder if he'll retire in time ? maybe he'll continue till his forties....kinda like Hopkins... but not everyone has couture's longevity... but who knows... maybe fedor will still be at the top at that age..
I dn't think he's in his prime anymore... (for me , his prime was 2002-2005)... But his level is so above everyone else that it doesn't matter much.
(like hopkins...not in his prime...but it's almost irrelevant.. same goes for calzaghe )
But sometimes things go crashing down...in a very bad way...Like it did with Tyson , Crocop , Federer...

it could happen... especially in this sport...(there's way , WAY too many upsets in this sport...)
it happens to everyone... it even happened to GSP against Serra...(serra is not an unknown but no one was expecting this )...
Just like no one was expecting Rahman to KO Lennox...

How long has it been since you sported an avatar of your own choice? Let me know the next time you make one so I know which way to bet.

:DJermain Taylor WASNT suppose to let me down. Froch have all my respect, that fight was more dramatic than Pavlik vs Taylor 1. Froch vs Pavlik would be epic

I actually broke down and listened to OTG since Pavlik was on. Well, I downloaded it so I could skip to his interview. He said JT needs to work on lifting low weights, high reps to get his muscle fatigue under control. I was 16 seconds from being right in that fight. Truth is, I would have been disappointed if he was able to hang on and get the points victory. I belive in a fight, you go by the "last man standing" concept and Froch clearly would have been that.

wow>>>>>>
I enjoyed that more than most actual fights.
To bad pro wrestlers can't do that.
Except the japs at catch wrestling.

The two things I noticed was that despite Fedor weighing 60lbs more was not that much bigger.
And how damn fast on his feet Fedor was.
It was a great thing.

Except for Fedor hasn't, despite fighting the best fighters his whole career. He's in a different class than Cro Cop, Tyson, Pac etc. Not to say that these guys are bad, but that he is just that good. Even if he loses now, to me it would be because he is passed his prime and he doesn't seem as motivated. He trained for like 4 weeks for Arlovksi fight, even his trainers said that he didn't train that hard.
He is theoretically beatable, but no one beat him in his prime. And that's one hell of an accomplishment in MMA.

Just promotional work by fedor. I don't know why people are so critical. It's better than panning to him sitting in the crowd.

Aoki could easy weigh 170 but yeah in that photo he does look a lot bigger.
I was meaning during the fight when they both had Gi's on I wouldnt have said there was 60 plus pounds between them.
