Well here's my opinion of the UFC 100 poster. It's awsome. I think the illustrators and graphic designers and advertiser that make the UFC advertisements weather posters or television advertisements for upcomign events actually do great work. ANd the way teh UFC 100 poster incorporates pictures of the original UFC event poster or video covers in the background is 100% freaking awsome. I can't even say UFC 100 with out wanting to freak out. It's awsome, from my perspective of the sport growing and having new fans, and some awsome fighters. UFC 100 is deffinatel bad freakin ass!!:yikes

Yeah I think there is no other fight more fitting for UFC 100 than Frank Mir vs. Brock Lesnar II. Those two probably epitomize the excitement, uniqeness, the action, and the drawing in peoples attenion aspect of MMA, more than any other fight. With out being too sideshow ot too mainstream. Too concocted or not concocted enough there is legit rivalry but not bad blood much respect, but much reasonable animosity. To me this up there with like one of Boxing's most famous professional bouts. So escited I want to smash shit.:fire

I said to the main stream. Not that nobody cares. The general public know Lesnar better than probably any other guy in the UFC because of being in the WWE and the NFL. He was in the WWE before there ever was The Ultimate Fighter on SPIKE TV. That's all I am saying, he is out there more than Pierre and Alves. He's a bigger name.

Now for the hardcore fans, Pierre/Alves may be bigger in their minds than Mir/Lesnar 2. But thats the difference between the mainstream and the real hardcore fans.

Honestly, I think UFC is going the route of WWE, as far as the HW's are concerned. Rematching with Mir is just going to make the UFC twice as much money as Lesnar's debut, only because the rivalry is there. IF Lesnar happens to defeat Mir, then they will feed Lesnar some "monster" HW's like Congo, which would be easy for Lesnar, and then they will start another rivalry again. It's like having Triple H take on John Cena for the millionth time, or Randy Orton, etc.

Lesnar's the million dollar baby in the UFC, and Dana White knows it. As much potential matches he can make for Lesnar, the better he knows it will be for his company. Win or lose, Lesnar is the cash cow at HW, because of his name and history with the general public.

Lesnar brings alot of intangibles purely because of his size and insane athleticism alone. I can see this going either way as Mir was very fortunate in there first bout. If Lesnar improves his GnP this is a fight he can win. But im expecting a seasoned vet like Mir to wiley enough to pull a sub from guard at least.

As for the fights I've got:

Lesnar TKO Mir. I think Lesnar should have learnt his lesson and won't be leaving limbs out for Mir to tear off. Lesnar has the striking advantage, mainly due to his power. Mir's good stiking against Nog means fuck all as Nog was a walking corpse. Lesnar knocks Mir down then proceeds to pound on his head like an angry child.

GSP UD Alves. I really want Alves to win this one. I'm a big fan. He has excellent stand up with KO power, good takedown defence and a decent ground game. It would be retarded fro GSP to stand with him imo. However I've learnt my lesson about betting against GSP. I think he takes Alves down and gnps his way to a decision. That said...Come On Alves!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bisping UD Hendo. I think this will go kinda the same way as Bisping-Leben. Bisping stays on the outside and out strikes Hendo to a UD. Only problem is he has to watch for takedowns. As for Hendo I think he's past his best and Bisping will take advantage. Bisping is not KO Hendo and Bisping's chin isn't too bad either. Then again Bisping won't let Hendo land too often.
