If Tito VS DLH would have been called a DRAW; would there have been a re-match? What would've been the outcome of that re-match? Would it have been more a exciting fight? Your opinion... :think

Yes, there would have been a rematch at a catch weight and DLH would have paced himself better, and PROBABLY squeeked out a decision.

I'm in agreement with the others.

Oscar would have won the rematch by UD.

I think there would have been a rematch and Oscar would've stopped Tito. He could've done it in that fight if he would've tried to. Winky could've stopped Tito if he took more risks but Winky wanted a big money rematch.

I wouldn't care if they fought today... I mean an immediate re-match.

If they go all the way up to 154, then I like Tito's chances.

If they fight at 147 again or a catchweight of 149 or something, I agree with DLH squeaking out a close decision.

I think it would've been a much more active fight from both... Critics would have done their job to make them make it a classic. I just think the first one didn't live up to the hype. We fans were owed that re-match!!

Dlh was tentative to say the least as he was in with a guy who was not a lot smaller than him and he was not used to that. I as well as most thought the fight would be exciting with both throwing a lot of punches and letting it all hang loose. Oscar tasted a couple of Trinidads punches and realized this was not Paez or Dorsey the 4'10" midgets and fought staying away most of the fight, of course throwing hs little pitty-pat flurries the last few seconds of most of the rounds that, as usual, mean absoliutely nothing in the minds of the judges or knowledgable boxig fans. Those pitty-pats are for the teeny bopper little girls who squeal everytime Oscar misses his punches. What is really mind boggling is seeing Oscar run away the last few rounds. I've seen this fight many times and it's beyond me how so many gave Oscar so many rounds. I have no problem with Lederman scoring the fight a draw but some have Oscar winning 7 to 5 or 8 to 4 and that's completely wrong. I will admit Trinidad disappointed me as he could not seem to cut off the ring and seemed to be waiting for Oscar too much and not showing his usual aggression. But it was certainly more than Oscar showed. Seeing Oscar run away the last part of the fight and watching Oscar roll around on the mat squealing from that body tap from Hopkins are highlights that should be shown to all Oscarsexuals who have him as an ATG instead of what he is. Just a very good boxer who will be inducted in the HOF but will never be recognized as ATG by people who really know the sport.

The dude's a fanatic, remember.

One who CAN'T change his mind and WON'T change the subject.

The thread topic could have been THOUGHTS ON VARGAS PULLING OUT

or WHICH KLIT HAS BETTER HAIR?

and Kaygb would have given you the same old oscarsexual schtick.

Good stuff EB.

I think Tito carried the additional 7 pounds better than Oscar. Oscar and Bob weren't too thrilled with the idea of a rematch above 147.

Tito finished pretty strong in that fight for a guy who was known for awhile to have weight-making problems.
