Not a snow ball's change in hell.
Thats pretty accurate statement.
The question should be >>>>> Who can he beat ??? Period !!!
Maybe against a Russian featherweight champ?

Uh. Fuck no. He can't beat ANY of the top 25. NONE of them.

No - Klitschko, Maskaev, Ibragimov, and Chagaev all beat up Mesi

No chance vs Wlad, and very slim chances vs the other 3.

You can never count out someone who blew away TOS in a way that Wlad couldn't equal

At this point, it doesn't look like it. His comeback seemed to be picking up some earlier in the year when he started out active and with a couple of quick first-round knockouts, one over a semi-decent opponent, but he's been delayed all summer now by back injuries and is nearly 34 years old at this point. I doubt he'll ever be as good as he was in 2003 again(look at, say, the Davis and Williamson fights for peak Mesi), and he'd need to be that good to really have a strong chance at beating any of the beltholders, except maybe Maskaev, who I suppose he'd still have a perfectly solid puncher's chance against. That said, though, if you'd told someone back in 2003 when he had just been knocked out by T-rex Corey Sanders that Maskaev would be a major beltholder three years later at the age of 38, they probably would've laughed to your face- Mesi is still a pretty talented athlete with good power and a lot of heart, and he is still undefeated, so I don't think he can be written off.
Well?
Mesi has a puncher's chance against any rival, but .........to tell the truth he would probably lose big time against any present top 20 boxer IMO.

I'd have more luck fighting an Africal lion with a porkchop bone than Mesi would have against Wlad Klitschko. If he really wants brain damage and ruin his life, then that fight would do it. As for the Russians, I dont think that Chagaev, or Ibragimov would have any difficulty in doing what the do best, and thats outscoring and outboxing him for 12 rounds, but the accumulation of punches these two guys would land wouldn't be worth the risk. As for Oleg Maskaev, if he survives Sam Peter, I don't think he would be able to miss Mesi with power shots, after he paved the way with a body attack. I don't think Mesi punches hard enough to keep Maskaev off of him. Mesi shouldn't be so foolish, and retire. The risks to his brain aren't worth it.

mesi is so faded tight now, it would'nt even be funny when he gets put in with the east euros. klitschko, chagaev, maskaev, ibragimov all take out mesi brutally in 4 rounds or less

Mesi wasn't that good BEFORE his brain injury - as soon as he started facing decent fighters, he started hitting the canvas. Since he's been back, he's fought nothing but tomato cans. And somebody thinks he can beat a beltholder?? This has got to be a joke.
There are only two reasons we continue to hear about this hype job. One is that he's American. The other, I suspect most can guess easily.

Mesi would be fuckin killed if he fights a top contender -- no joke.

Hell no. Mesi has a better chance of winning the lottery, than winning a HW Title.
The only recent Heavyweight Beltholder Mesi could have beat would have been Ruiz.

Wlad Klitschko is too big, too strong, too fast for Mesi.
Wlad would stop Mesi inside six rounds.
Maskaev would likely beat Mesi, though at Maskaev's age,
Maskaev could get "old" real quickly in a fight. Slight chance
that Mesi could win, repeat slight chance.
Ibragimov would beat Mesi. Ibragimov has good power and
punches well to the body.
Chagaev is like a rock, beats Mesi.
If we throw Vitali Klitschko into the mix, Mesi loses again.
