Look like John Murray vs Scott Lawton for The British Lightweight Title at Robin Park Centre On June 13. If Murray makes it through then he fights Thaxton in September.

Your Thoughts on Murray vs Lawton?

I would have preferred Murray to take on Mezaache or even Thaxton next.

Fat Mick has sat around too long with murray he should have had this fight in march or April, Thaxton June/July then the Euro title

could be a dangerous fight for murray. lawton could spring an upset given the way he's been fighting recently.

Lawton fights Buckand in an eliminator on 29th May.

Hopefully Lawton wins this, and then brings the title back to Stoke.

Apparently Fat Mick is making Murray-Lawton first because it will mean if Murray wins the winner of Thaxton-Murray will get the Lonsdale belt for keeps. Thaxton needs one more win and after Lawton Murray will need one more win to win the belt outright. Something like that.

Really Murray should have fought in march or april then this in june or july

Completely pointless for Murray - wouldn't be suprised to see him struggle for motivation in this fight.
