Malignaggi and Corley are two guys that wear skirt-like trunks nowadays, kind of similar to Camacho. I always hated that look. But if trunks are very long it looks dumb too. I think the coolest looking trunks are the ones that just have the boxer's national flag without tons of advertisements all over them.

the first time i remember tassels on trunks was meldrick taylor vs chavez even buster douglas had red steaks on his shoes.i think comacho made the first aspect of it.of looking good and fighting fine.

anyways most over 30's were saying it was a gay thread...but most under 20's totally took to it. the main reason is that if you DO do boxing then you are keeping fit trying to get in shape and the effects are going to look like those body's of other boxers if you work hard enough.

in this day and age boxers are more inclined to look good in every possible way you look at the 1950's most fighters were tough no nonsense men nowadays it's about flash and dressing charisma.
