Is if the fight is so close that it ends up a draw..
The anticipation on this fight is similar to when Pac-JMM fight. One of the fighters is recognized as the real champ whereas the other hold the titles. Both have the momentum and perceived to be at their best (although you could aruge that JC is not really at his peak prime).
This fight should crown the 1st ever 168 undisputed champ and I hope it resolves who really is the man at 168 instead of both going home with their own belts.

"One of the fighters is recognized as the real champ whereas the other hold the titles"
which is which exactly? They both have titles, Calzaghe is recognised as the best and will be until someone else dethrones him

Funny how you should mention a draw, because both times in the past when a WBO champ and a WBC champ at SMW fought each other it actually ended in a draw.
SRL (WBC) vs Hearns (WBO) and
Benn (WBC) vs Eubank (WBO)

I don't think it'd be the worst thing. That'd be someone getting a decision and not deserving it - a draw would be ok if it was right and it would maybe lead to a rematch. Might not be a bad thing.
I totally agree, and let's add a controversial stoppage to the worst case scenario.

It wont be. Any close rounds will probably go to Joe but majority will be clearly in Joe's favour anyway.

What Fluxstaff said, worst thing would be an undeserving win for either. The only thing worse would be if one got a critical or fatal injury. Or 60,000 people fighting amongst themselves instead of the fighters.

certainly a draw, easely could end up being a positive thing..
it would create a little controversy , it would create pr oppurtunitties for a rematch, both would still be undefeated, the fans would be demanding a new fight to decide a winner and a trilogy would do nothing bad legacy wis for any fighter..
especially if they both end up slapping a couple of the more famous americanos around. :deal
totally agree, worst case scenario, would be crowning an undeserved winner
Well if it iends up a draw you can be sure that the fight will be debated endlessly in this forum..:deal

If it ends a draw, which is doubtful, both sides will be screaming robbery.
"Kessler CLEARLY won!"
"Calzaghe CLEARLY won!"

No, the worst thing that could happen is one of the two gets a cut from an accidental headbutt in round 1 and the fight is declared a no contest.

Oh god... I'd have to take a break from this forums cuz I'd be sick of hearing it.
What was the forum like after the de la hoya-Mayweather fight?
Not really.
A very good case could have been made for Floyd.
A case of sorts could have been made for a draw.
Not much case there for an Oscar win.
So, all in all, most ( but for the die-hard Oscar fanatics) accepted the result as a fair outcome.

No, the worst part is if one of them cuts the other with a punch while the other guy is slightly ahead on points when the ref stops the fight around end of round 6...
Hmmn, kinda reminds me of something...

The worst thing that could happen is that Kessler wins.
That'd suck.

I've never understood that argument: but if such and such hadn't have been ko'd, he'd have won on points.
Well, he still got KO'd, I think that tells you everything...
If it's a TKO or whatever, it's still a TKO. Bad luck, loser.
But in the case of Lewis-Vitali, Vitali won the event!!!:nut :patsch

Especially for Blocky.
Although I must admit, I would be quite intrigued to hear what he has to say, should Calzaghe lose. It would almost be worth it.
Almost:D

Well it would soften the blow of Calzaghe losing, just a bit. It'd be quite funny listening to Blocky's excuses the day after.

Thought he was already in some "never show your face on ESB again" kinda bet. Can't remember with whom though.
Normally i'd prefer an obnoxious poster like Blocky would stay around to face the music after being exposed. But in this case i think i'd only be too happy to see the last of him.
Expect he'd soon be back with an other avatar though - so what's the point.
