I think it is Anthony Farnell with Johnny Eames just behind him...:bbb:bbbYour on crack. By far the best are the ingles, annoying arrogant cunts admittedly (jnrs not senior) but they know how to create a champion and have done so time and again. Farnell is clearly on the up and mad keen by the looks of it but he is blessed with a talented stable. Nearly all his fighters were amateur champions. He's done nothing to prove himself as an outstanding trainer thus far. It doesn't take a top class trainer to keep a good class amateur fit enough to beat journeyman. A real test is upcoming when Crolla fights Sykes, a fifty-fifty match up where tactics and preperation is likely to prove decisive.
Enzo Calzaghe is over-rated. Fitness is his forte, and his knowledge of boxing is wafer thin. Jim McDonald is a fabulous trainer and unfotunately always seems to end up with the various headcases but his lads always turn out fit and he is very good at reading a fight.
Eames is very good. he strikes me as having a very good bond with his fighters and I agree he's a strong candidate. Dave Coldwell is mightily impressive. His work with Rhodes and Brook (pre split) was of the highest order and even his journeyman move well and know how to look after themselves. He is prob the best new trainer at the moment.
'Young' up and comers include Karl Ince, Bobby Rimmer seem to be making steady progress it will be interesting to see how it all pans out for them once there fighters get a significant test.
Adam Booth brings a great education to the sport and so too does Kevin Maree who has been highly touted by some big names in the game.
Joe Gallagher is fantastic. His work with Macklin and John Murray has been excellent and to take Murray from an area level amateur to borderline international class and Maclkin from a chilling loss to champion deserves respect of the highest order. He and Billy Nelson for me share the accolade of the best individuals in the sport. Nelson has taken Ricky Burns from a sub championship contender to a deserved WBO title shot.
Good work Billy. Look forward to seeing Limond in a major fight.
I'm bad with trainers names and what not so this is probably not so good.
The ingles are great but they need someone to fit into there style they don't fit into fighters styles.
McCracken looked good in the froch fight but i don't know any of his other fighters

He couldn't even get your lover Danny in decent shape half the time and conditioning is his only strength as a trainer.

No Danny was over weight that night too think back. It wasn't Mike Tyson he fought it was some old man who looks like someone who used to be world class fighter.

I think all the coaches are good with different styles. I find none of them genuinely class. Ingles are good at making talented fighters awkward and thus successful to a limit. Graham is good at making tenacious fighters fit but without a high level of technique or strategy. The list continues. They all have their pros and cons.

On crack my arse!! :tong:tong
I think that Sykes will beat Crolla, he will be a lot stronger but it is a real 50/50 fight... Sykes just might wear him down for a late stoppage.
Lots of good names there... I think that if Joe Gallagher works with Kerry Kayes in the same way he did with Billy Graham he will get all of his fighters so nutritionally conditioned and strong it will be a great partnership... but I stand by what I say... Farnell and Eames are my two...:bbb:bbb

I will say this he has trained nobody to Championship level yet so I cannot argue with your first point...... Look at who is been placed with Farnell..... most of Frank ******s best prospects... Frank aint gonna roll the dice with them boys... he is gonna put them in a great camp to get them where they need to be in the future....and that is with Farnell. As I have said in previous posts I aint biased.. There are lots of great trainers out there....I really like what Neil Fannan and Mick Marsden did getting Michael Hunter to where he went... he was beaten by Molitor who is class but to get him up there from the am's was great work.
Mick Marsden is another one who gets lots of Journeymen to lots of shows... Paul Bonson for example.... look on his card who he has fought through the years....
Biased my arse......I like Farnell and Bellew.. simple as that....:bbb:bbb
