Believe it or not,Mike Tyson is a pretty cool person from what we've seen.
Met him 3 times in the 90', first time at city hall in nyc.we were rollerblading down the steps of the court buildings and out came tyson n hungout with out us.he kept asking us to do tricks while rollerblading down the steps, lets say we ended up with more bruises n chipped teeth as we tried *lol* at the end bought us all ice cream.end of the 90's he chilled on our block with the fellas and seemed pretty humbled.

So many. Floyd used to work out at the same 24 hour fitness, and I've run into him here at the movies and at Wal Mart. Rahman, winky wright trained for hopkins at my boxing gym, Round One, Sam peters, Jesus Chavez, Willie Chapman, Duncan Dokiwari was a bouncer at Pure nightclub. Derrick Harmon, several others.
Floyd was very very cool every time I met him.

I go to Larry Holmes's gym, and he is in there pretty much every day. He's a great, honest man who loves to joke around and have fun. Ive seen his brother Mark many times in there, and he was the #1 middle weight contender at one point, but KO'd in his title fight.

Oh almost forgot, We locked up Zab Judah and I spoke with him for a few minutes, Zab was so nice, he's not the monster he's made out to be. Zab told me that he had to go to an awards cerimony for being the youngest champ at ww i believe, he didn't harm anyone, child support issues.

Ive met most of them, but nothing compares to being in camp with the fighters watching them train spar, and workout for a fight. Some guys are unbelievable with their entourages. Tyson for example had a guy that just turned on and off the radio between when he was working with his trainers and just jumping rope or speed bag.

doesnt surprise me at all...it seems that when Mike isnt being berated or pushed into a corner, that he's a nice guy.
I met Mancini---great guy, one of the nicest guys around. He stayed for hours taking pics, talking to fans and hanging out.
Met Spinks, and he seemed pretty weird.

Roy Jones Jr., Arthur Williams & James 'Buddy' McGirt. All three were decent guys; particularly Roy Jones who was very respectful and almost deferential to his fans while at the same time showing a certain disdain for the sports media at the same pre-fight presser where I met him. Hell, Roy managed even to give me a nod of acknowledgment at the weigh the next day.

Joe Calzaghe - Seems a decent guy
I've posted this for years but I love to repeat it.
I met George Foreman in San Francisco in 1996 when he was Heavyweight Champ. When I shook his hand I thought "Damn, this is the hand that destroyed Joe Frazier".
It was an honor to meet the great George Foreman :good
I met another "boxer" too. 3 weeks ago in Los Angeles in front of the famous Chinese theater (where the hand prints of the stars are) I met Danny Bonaduce (The red head kid from the Partridge family)
I'm not kidding! I saw him knock the shit out of Greg Brady and go toe to toe with Donny Osmond!

How was Mora a dickweed? What did he act like?
Sergio acted like a stuck up little bitch. I mean, maybe he was on his period because everyone was mobbing Sugar Ray and the fans didn't give a shit about him. But I tried to engage him in conversation, and said things that proved that I was a true boxing fan. I didn't tell him he was the greatest fighter ever or kiss his ass at all, which I'm sure a lot of people do. But he completely blew me off and was a jerk.
To put things in perspective, I ran into Barry Bonds when I was at a Mercedez dealership. He was a hundred times more friendly than Sergio was, without being too engaging. But I understand that, because I bet everyone in the Bay Area bugs Barry when he walks around, and it must get frustrating for him because he is a private person. There is no reason for Mora to act like a superstar just because he won the Contender. I'm sure that some people have similar stories to mine, and sooner or later he'll be known for being a jerk.

I met Floyd, Zab, Floyd Sr at the Trinidad-Winky bout, also took picks. Funny thing that Floyd Sr was chilling with Chris Carter (football reciever) at the Wolf Gang Puck joint in MGM. Actually met floyd Jr. after his interview with Steward, seats where next to the booth. Pretty cool guy, I asked to take pics, he told me to wait and then when he was done he actually walked and said "I am ready guys, pretty as ever"! Funny as hell! Zab was at the poker table with Willie McGinest (football star). Also met Cotto at Cuba Libre at the Tropicana in AC after he ko'ed Quintana. He was chillin, sippin on a Corona. Let us take pics and what not, cool guy.

People hate floyd so much but he does seem very approachable and comfortable around regular folk..I know zab is cool despite the so called thug image he is branded with..Cotto seems like he would be laid back chill guy. Man I got to get on the scene more..Hey I will be at the taylor fight, hopefully some big name fighters will be there.
