mitchells got an 8 rounder this week at york hall this is a warm up after he had an op on his hand/wrist hence why he has been inactive providing he gets through this i reckon he may get a shot at martinez but i cant see it being in july like they said as cook would want lomger to prepare him,

I see the fight happening on July 18th as chief support for mayweather vs marquez.

mitchell loses this 1 i'm afraid, taken too much time out of the ring, gets hit too easily i doubt he'll be stopping martinez, martinez UD12

You might be right... he took far to muich leather against CJ.. I thought that CJ might have won that.. I would like KM to win, but with his ability to be hit at domestic level, I wonder how he will cope defensivley with Martinez.. I want Kev though..:happy:happy

I can see Mitchell having a good chance of winning this fight.
I think it is 55-45 in Martinez' favour, but I could actually see Mitchell stopping him late on.

I so glad Mitchell is getting a shot at a title now. I'm defo a fan.
I think it's a winnable fight for him. But he will need to stop the guy probably as with his poor defence he will be taking shots. Luckily he has a good enough chin. But he can win this on workrate and possibly force a late stoppage.

If this is the English undercard for Mayweather vs Marquez, I'll probably buy it.
Wasn't gonna bother otherwise.

I can see Cleverly vs McIntosh being on this card too, as it's not gonna be on the Khan card anymore. Probably Kell Brook and maybe the Olympians too.
By the way, does anyone have a list of who Frank ****** promotes? Cant find one on the net. Hennessy and Hayemaker both have a list of their fighters on their websites but ****** doesnt.

Mitchell will win by stoppage if he faces Martinez..If Cookie can drop him then Miychell can stop him I feel..As long as he makes the right adjustments to his defence then I see him winning all day..

Got to be honest here Billy and Ricky could definitly outbox Mitchell, I feel he's one of very few fighters who could maintain a pace fast enough to stay away from Mitchell's big punches..I really rate Ricky I do..
The kid is one of the most underestimated boxers in this country today!! His own power is starting to come to the for front now too..Once Mitchell beats Martinez I can see Ricky getting his shot and I feel it'll be desaerved too when he beats Foster..I can't see Foster getting anywhere near Burns!!:bbb

tony you know i value your opinion,i just don't see a super feather weight in uk touching him, his speed is scarey and as you say his power is developing every training camp along with his confidence as it would do.

What thoughts???? He got exposed against CJ..They were gonna pull him out!!! That was a very hard fight that he had to dig so deep to win....I am glad he came through it.This is a tough fight, but I want Kev to win it :good

I have to agree Billy.. I went to that fight at Leeds Town Hall... he got kopped early by Carl that night and I am not convinced Burns did the weight as good as he could of...... I may be a million miles away and I stand to be corrected.
One thing is for certain is that Burns has took something from that fight and is now up there in the mix with them all....
Good luck to him, I hope he wins and wins well....:bbb:bbb
