I'd say it would be about even...ive never really seen either of them get gassed at all. Although mayweather was puffing in the DLH fight towards then end - that was a first.
If Hatton finds his "relentless space" Mayeather will be very tired by the end of the fight Tszyu was fucked at the end of their match.... but if maywether can interrupt Hattons natural rhythm and frustrait his style i can see Hatton getting very tired.
Mayweather by far.. not even close.
Mayweather can do about 36 rounds straight compared to Hatton.

I asked this same question a few weeks ago and the answer seemed to depend on which side of the pond the respondent lived. Those from the UK picked Hatton and those from the US picked Mayweather.

Hatton.

It would appear that Mayweather does, but remember that Hatton's style of fighting requires more energy than Floyd's does.
I would tend to say hatton and i dont live in the UK.

Hatton has more stamina, but Mayweather can fight a "Mayweather fight far longer than HAtton can fight a "Hatton fight".
What I'm saying is that Mayweather's style takes very little energy to sustain. He doesn't put any power into his punches, and he throws as few as possible anyway. He stays far away and occasuionally jumps in and throws some slaps.
Hatton's style is energy draining. He holds, wrestles, and throws punches with intent to hurt.
Mayweather's style is like skipping rope for 45 minutes. Hatton's is like slamming the heavybag for 45 minutes.
Advantage: Mayweather.

i'll go with PBF at welterweight where the fight is taking place. last time i saw hatton at this weight he was looking very tired and seemed he was about to get KTFO by the light punching Luis Collazo, which tells me it was more from fatigue rather then collazo booming power.

well err um given that i have never seen hatton tired the by far not even close comment sounds a bit flimsy or at worst a bit nutthuggerish

thats a good point...the 147 factor could be an issue

Floyd has come from lighter weights and still has managed to keep himself in phenominal shape, and still sustain excellent stamina.
When Hatton fought at 147 against Collazo he looked like he was tiring IMO. The added weight seemed to b an issue, FLoyd has gone as far as 150 and still kept his same stamina.
Floyd IMO
Hatton has excellent stamina as well, but Floyd I think has more

Mayweather is good at fighting at his pace, it doesn't mean he has great stamina.

didnt hatton looked kinda tired at the final rounds vs Urango?
LMFAO at your Avatar! and yeah he did look tired at the end of the Urango fight, I forgot about that. hatton even coasted for a few rounds. Floyd wasn't alway in the best shape when he was younger.
Honestly they will both be so motivated for this fight that it won't even be an issue imo. neither of them will straight gas out.

neither have a disadvantage ,mayweather has sparred 20min rounds with super-middleweights

Hatton hasn't shown good stamina since Tszyu.
He faded against Urango and was lucky Urango was green and limited.

We can only guess . . . their state of condition in the past fights doesn't give us a picture of how they are coming in into this fight.

Hatton uses more energy and will be gased out bouncing around after mayweather for about 5-6 rounds and once he gets tired. The holding will begin...Or floyd will break him down...Floyd didnt look tired in the ODH fight in the later rounds..lol what fight were you watching...

I'm not surprised, de la Hoya couldn't sustain any sort of pressure. That doesn't mean Mayweather has good stamina, just that he's a smart fighter (and that ODH is waaay past his best).

Which is typical. Hatton is a busy fighter, and expends more energy then the more conservative fighting Mayweather. It's hard to really gauge, unless you're a pathetic fanboy who just says who w/o evening giving anything that looks like a reason why.

Given their styles, Mayweather has the stamina to fight his fight for the full 12 rounds better than Hatton can fight his fight for the full 12.
The interesting part to me is whether Hatton can force Mayweather to expend enough energy early on in the fight to make FBF stuggle latter on.
It doesn't mean that one fighter has more innate stamina than the other though, just that Floyds style requires less stamina in order to be effective.

Mayweather is arguably the best conditioned fighter lb for lb

The correct answer would be, that neither has stamina issues.

Oscar took him into places he'd never been before, but he still had lots in the tank to take the final deciding round.
Ricky was in hurtin' shape at the end of the Collazo fight.
I'd say Floyd by a good measure.

Hot chick in pic there buddy.
I pick Hatton but they are both supremely well conditioned fighters.

I've never seen floyd even remotely tired in a fightTrue, but when does he get involved in a real "fight"? I think Hatton may ultimately have more stamina, but Mayweather is a master at minimising energy wastage.
This fight will be about who can dictate the pace. Whoever can impose their style will last the pace better, but stamina is not an issue for either man.

Hatton has very good stamina, but Mayweather is the fittest boxer in the world. Has he ever even looked like gassing out?

Mayweather can do about 36 rounds straight compared to Hatton. Not to mention he spars 9 and 12 minute rounds sometimes.

Anyone who says they've never seen Hatton tired must NEVER watch Ricky Hatton. In 2 of his last 3 fights he looked QUITE tired by the end, against both Urango and Collazo. Against Castillo he looked like he could fight forever, but he KOd Castillo early so that means NOTHING.
