the participants in WBA tournament are Valuev, Ruiz, Liakhovitch and Tua.
Since Quiet Man fought already two of them It would be interesting to see how does he compete with Liakhovitch :bbb
In other end it would be great to know how do you see the comparison between chin and power of Tua and Valuev.:boxer
It would be great if you can disscuss some potential dilema or insights if you have any. :rant

This match is really interesting, will Sergei fight smart like with Brewster or just plain stupid like against Briggs?
Ruiz performance is obvious.

Valuev too much for Tua?
Lyakhovitch over Ruiz .... Ruiz finally coming for his retirement.

Both fights are hard to choose I think Vaulev is too big for tua, and sergi is very unpredictable but I will pick him over ruiz

Tua however have very good chin, he can walk to Valuev and work his body all the fight.
Valuev probably cannot hurt Tua from inside.
The only chance for Valuev is to hang on Tua and tire him.

Well, Tua doesn't have a workrate and like it or not, Valuev does have a decent jab. Tua isn't going to get enough leverage to knockout Valuev unless it's by a body shot, and I think whenever Tua gets close, Valuev will just clinch and tire him out like you said. So yeah, don't really see how Tua is gonna win this one unless he gets back in shape.
Sergei is the better fighter than Ruiz but, I am still suprised he lost to Shannon Briggs....I picked Liakovich by UD but it's not a solid pick.

Valuev 7 - Tua 5 ... everything may happen yet, tua seemsto be tired a little
Lyakhovitch 9 - Ruiz 3 ... seem to be easy fight for Sergei but this may be misleading.
Ruiz was comming off to the top from bigger pressure.

Do you guys think Lyakhovitch is so good just because he beat Brewster?

Brewster is my favorite fighter but after sergei beat him I had a ton a respect for him, they both deserved the medal of honor after that war. I think he gets little respect from fans after his catious lack luster performance against Briggs, Sergei getting knocked out in the 12th was shocking and sad.

I think he fought not smart against Briggs, he believed too early he may play significant role in this division.
Ruiz on the other hand is capable to take all his tiny little chances and sneak with the surprising win.

I agree with what you said about Sergei thinking he would be a significant player after having a compelling victory over Lamon Brewster in the Hevywieght fight of the year. Ruiz is like Jason from "friday the 13" as much as you think hes dead and gone he always finds a way to come back, in this fight Im still not sure but I think I will take Sergei in this one by the slimmest of margins.

Everything depends if he fight smart and box or allow Ruiz to hug a lot.

Last chance for voting.
If the poll ends like that then Valuev beat Tua 9-6 and Lyakhovich beat Ruiz 11-3.
Probably you cannot change Ruiz fate but you still may give win for Tua.

I believe in Tua, but hes really got to believe in himself if wants to have any chance of beating Wlad.
