It was RIDICULOUSLY biased coverage. I didn't get it. Geale would land with a straight right. Not a word said. Mundine fires back and "what an athlete; so precise and quick." Every close round, he gave to Mundine. You would have thought it was 120-107 given his commentary.

Great fight and very hard to split, but as I have stated here Mundine's work rate is not up to scratch....this was almost his undoing.

Im pretty sure he gave two pretty clear Geale rounds to Mundine but THEN gave a clear Mundine round to Geale...Ill have to watch the telecast again but I remember scratching my head at a few of his calls.

Geale showed he's got talent. I gave Mundine the fight just but Geale is pretty green and he did a great job for his first world class fight. Mundine obviously will not be able to hack it at the world class level. Let's just hope he actually makes a stand at the world class finally instead of all this aus circus shit. Pavlik? Yeah ok. Here we go Dib again lol I'll say this sure I dont like Mundine or Dib but I call their punches and say good defense and good attack when they do it. Barry only calls Mundines and its shocking how bad he really is.

Now I was going for Geale but I had Mundine winning the fight also because you have to score the fight with your head and not your heart and Geale did a great job, Sadly that knockdown is what lost him the fight. That and the fact he seemed to slack off a little at the end of the last few rounds which I also believe cost him BUT that said he did an amazing job.

Both fighters should be proud unlike Mundines corner with that Tape which was BEYOND a joke and as for that so called Commentary :bart I say get rid of them and we can host a contest on here to see who can replace them :happy

I do think the judges and the ref got it right, it was a slip and i thought Mundine did enough to win because of the 10-8 second round. Great fight.

He did the same thing in the Zappa-St Clair fight...Lenny was controlling Gairy but he wasnt landing jack...he had about a 5% connect rate that night, which one would expect because Gairy was outgunned and spent majority of the fight on the defensive.
But even though I was fairly pissed I could clearly see that Gairy was blocking, parrying, rolling with and just plain evading most of Lenny's shots...yet every time a punch hit an arm or a glove you would hear Michael making some sort of geriatric orgasm noises...and it was annoying and frankly inept commentating.

I confirmed it when I watched the fight sober two days later...he is a legend, he knows something about boxing but get him off...Id prefer Briggsy or Hussy anyday.

One thing with Barry he was a former great of Australia and i think after sacking Briggs the Mundines have put a rocket up there ass but Paul Upham i think hasnt had a fight and trys to make it sound like he knows what he is talking about and Andy Raymonds job is a comentator and gets all views from the other guys and does a good job.
