Kats v Vincente Escobedo.

Escobedo was part of the 135 tournament and had a win over Carlos Hernandez.

It's a big chance of happening. I've heard two different dates but it looks like Aug 22 on Juan Diaz's card. HBO Boxing After Dark ppv.

GBP are keen on it.

Would be a great match for Kats. Escobedo didn't look like he had great power against hernandez but boxed well.

hmmm good fight, Escobedo looked to struggle against the ropes in the later rounds and was hit flush by a guy that doesnt have the power rocky does - very close fight IMO. Hoping this is for a vacant title

Interesting fight...I hope Rocky takes it. Vicente is pretty well schooled and has a good package but he has limitations that could Kat could take advantage of.

Katsidis turned down this fight. Maybe a Hatton fight is more a reality???

i hope not, hatton is still dangerous enough to hand out a helacious beating on kats
