Whilst it really didn't hurt Choc, that slip was definitely a KD. He got punched, then went to the canvas. The fact that he was slightly off balance and his feet weren't on solid footing is immaterial; there is no doubt thata, technically speaking, it was a knock down.

Now, given the very tight scoring, it would have been a draw. I'd be feeling pretty dirty if I was Geale.

Anyway, awesome to have such a top class local bout for a change.

I didnt think it was a KD to geale at first look, id like to see it again.

That was a knockdown in my book.

Knockdowns have always been discretionary, despite the rule books it's too subjective to be black and white.

It was more a slip... had he not been hit, he would have slipped anyway - maybe recovered and not gone down, but the slip happened because the floor was slippery and wet. Not purely cuz of the punch, which wasn't that good

Watching the replay in between rounds, it looked like Mundine may have stood on Geale's foot when he landed the punch and Geale was off balance because of it.

Knockdown in my opinion. Looked to me as if his legs buckled, which made it look like somewhat of a 'slip'.

you see similiar ones given a slips more often than not....Geale didnt seem to protest it . It was just Raymond trying to add a bit of drama as usual
