Daniel Geale....poor loser
Official protest being lodged to the IBO by Geales camp
1. Should have points deducted for the glove tape
2. Should have points deducted for low blow
3. Should have points deducted from elbow
4. BLA BLA BLA
What a whinger....he lost now he's doing this....poor form.....poor loser........bad sportsmanship
If Mundine lost he would not have done this....he would suck it up and move on.....Geale should do the same

I think petitioning for the rematch would have been more appropriate.. But glove tape was ridiculous whichever way you look at it. I think a point should have been taken for that shit.

Perhaps you need to read the articles a bit more closely ash.
All of the above were made by Geales manager, Bill Tracey.
From Geale;
"You've got to sit back and let the judges do their job," he said.
But if we're going to hold the fighters responsible for their camps behaviour, Mundine must a be a racist, judge intimidating thug who thinks its ok to call people white c@nts.
But if you want to be loose with the facts, thats your perogative.

I think Ash is more of a mundine cock eater than what Gavin Stone was and that is setting a new standard in ball licking.

If Geale wanted to let it go he could.....hes not stopping his management is he?
And now your going to say he dont have any say in it :patsch
Just move on "team Geale" you got beat.....and for all the huggers.....I guess now you have more reason to hate Mundine
And if team Geal can kiss enough ass to get a rematch Geale will get KTFO this time......Mundine has worked you out...it will be like Soliman II.

I know 1 thing...it makes you a hater....The RING mag had Mundine #4 in SMW....I dont set the world rankings :patsch

Not a hater at all just a realist, i won money when i bet on him to beat green, i tipped him to beat geale as well but didn't bet cause he wasn't paying enough, but you seem to be a Mundine fan and not a boxing fan.
Some of your posts in the main room are just stupid such as you saying Mundine is the highest earning boxer in Aus...ever heard of tszyu? he has and continues to make 5 times more than Mundine ever will, and your statement about the cards were even when he got put to sleep by Ottke.......bzzzzzzd wrong, ottke was ahead on all 3 cards oztriker even posted the actual images of the cards.... so maybe do a bit of research before making yourself out like a typical brainless Mundine ball licker.

You got me there, he did move on when Kessler was made his mandatory.
So by your standards Mundines letting his camp "go" as well? Hes definitely not stopping Khoder from playing the race card.
You're saying Geale has got a hand in it? I don't think he does. You do. Wheres the proof?

IMO, a hugger constitutes someone who shows great bias to someone, and excludes them from criticism that they'd normally lay upon others. Predicting Mundine to beat a Calzaghe, etc, or whatever doesn't really mean a great deal to me. It just shows that you're extremely optimistic and deluded
In my 4 years at ESB, I've seen no bigger hugger than deram.
Ash and teke arent on his level, they're more laid back, relaxed, and while I'm not totally sold on ash just yet because I don't really know him very well, but I know that most of what teke posts is done because he wants to get a negative reaction on these boards. :yep
At the end of the day. If Mundine loses, teke is still pretty much the same old teke. Deram on the other hand...well, where is he?!

I am happy to follow the man......I dont just pick the best in the world and say I will follow him....I follow a fighter I like......I thought Mundine and Blacklock found a great way to entertain in the NRL and I admire that Mundine left the NRL and said he was going to be world champ.
I thought he would get beaten in the aissie title fight.....anyhow the rest is history.

Agree 1 or 2 mill each fight minus management...he got more VS Zab and Hatton
His first 12 fights he would have not got much...next 12 would have been nice next 12 would have been well paid.... last 3 quite high.
Mundine got $500,000 net for his first fight....all I am saying is Mundine is a massive earner in boxing for a footy player.
KT may get $1,5mill for his big fights minus management....for Mundines big fight vs Green some say he got $4m
KT fought the best and is at a higher level than Mundine as is Vic....it still dont change the fact Mundine earns a shitload from the ring.

Jesus you like to spin it to suit your own argument, he was paid 5 million in his last fight v hatton, that doesnt include his PPv share and showtime contract money, he was also paid 3million v Sharmba mitchell 2 and doesnt include his share of ppv and showtime contract money.
Mundine doesn't get the amount you think he does, he has to pay venue hire and insurance from his own pocket, which is boxa promos, he is contracted by main event and gets PPV shares from the few thousand that view it in AUS, but its peanuts compared to what KT gets from showtime that is shown worldwide, KT didn't have to fork out a cent for any of his fights, plus Mundines money came from with in AUS so he gets smashed with tax.

Ash, if there is a rematch here you gotta put up your betting slip with Mundine KO on it with big bucks buddy.....
Cause if he couldn't knock out has been retirees and superannuation recipients over the last 2 years he aint gonna be knocking out Geale in a rematch.

There was complaining from the Geale camp about Mundine being "disrespectful" by refusing to hold the referee's hand for the decision. Geale was quoted as saying that he had never seen a fighter just walk off to the corner to await the decision.....
The first fight that came to me was Fenech in L.A because I clearly remember him storming into the center of the ring after being robbed...then I remembered about 1,000 more fights where guys like Ali, Dela Hoya, Lennox Lewis, Roy Jones all wait for the decision in their corner.
I can understand Geale being disappointed after losing his title by such a small margin but what's happening now is he's feeding into all the negative bias being thrown around by certain members of the press. These guys have major issues with Choc and go about their work with an aim of spreading misinformation.
Instead of the focus being of the great bout that should have been a major promotion for the sport, we hear about "the great tape injustice" or how a Mundine fan abused an official.
What a fucking shame.
The reason a point wasn't taken off Mundine for the frustrating tape debacle was because everyone including the referee could tell that the cornerman was doing his best to fix the fucking thing. The only time you lose a point for that is if it's intentional...and it obviously wasn't. In fact on two occasions Mundine was on the attack and building momentum when the tape came loose so it would be idiotic to sugest it was deliberate.
As for the idiot calling the judge a cheat. I'd say that had it been a major issue with the judge then he would have asked for someone to remove the guy. Instead he told him to fuck off. My thinking is that the hard arsed Pommy judge may have considered screwing Mundine just to stick it up them.
As for the result, I thought it was fair because there were four rounds that I just couldn't split. The ones I could went to Mundine 5 to 3 including the KD so it was always going to upset whoever lost. I have seen many rotten decisions in boxing but this wasn't one of them.
If the IBO uphold the protest them expect every man and his midget to follow their lead and protest if they're still standing after 12.
Finally, I was surprised that Geale left the ring so quickly without thanking his fans and sponsors and his cousins from Tasmania.

I'm not sure if that's correct because I once remember reading that Pat Rafter was one of many Australian sportsmen that have accounts set up in places like the Caymans because they are required to pay tax on any money brought into the country that has been made through earnings.
That means they'd have to pay tax in the country they earnt it then more tax when they get back to OZ...but that's avoided if you put the cash in an offshore account before returning home.

For those who dont know Sillywanker/Uphercunt... use to be the biggest Mundine Nuthugger on here. He's been banned more times than I have posted.
I have no idea why he's switched maybe because he wanted to be popular.
Fuckin Dorrigo Emo cunt :lol:You may be onto something here.
I remember uppercut being banned for many anti American posts in the general forum.
Sally's now going totally ballistic in the lounge with 911 threads. He's made about 100 posts in the last day.
Just when I was starting to warm to him too.

...the decision won't change, they'll just order a mandatory rematch......Which won't happen because he'll vacate the belt, and go back up to super middleweight or light heavy weight to rematch Green instead.:yep
Can't see Mundine risking another go with Geale...ever! You're right he'll division hop to avoid it, if needs be.
Geale is still on the improve and IMO has more potential on the world stage than Mundine. Mundine has already peaked and is in the early stages of decline.

Daniel Geale....poor loser
Official protest being lodged to the IBO by Geales camp
1. Should have points deducted for the glove tape
2. Should have points deducted for low blow
3. Should have points deducted from elbow
4. BLA BLA BLA
What a whinger....he lost now he's doing this....poor form.....poor loser........bad sportsmanship
If Mundine lost he would not have done this....he would suck it up and move on.....Geale should do the same
Come and get it Geale huggers
O.K., I don't think it's cool what Geale's management is doing here, very poor form indeed, but don't delude yourself into thinking Mundine would have been a good sport if he had lost. Mundine whines like a little bitch after his loss's, he always has and he always will. Just because he is aborigional doesn't mean you have to hug his nuts in and out of the ring. MMMMKAY? Good.
Actually I've never heard Mundine whine like a little bitch after his losses, he's always been very respectful.

Dont know much about IBO rules and CBF looking them up.....at a guess the 3 judges would need to review the fight again and if all 3 scored the fight Geales way then a rematch would be ordered....no way thats going to happen....the judge from the USA had no problem with the fight.....and the pom wont change his score.
On Mundine crying when he loses...I dont recall anything like that.....well the Ottke fight he was out cold.....the Kess fight he said nothing.....the Sacia fight again no problem.....maybe you can tell me how he whinged after his loss?

Mundine complained in the ring after the Siaca fight saying he was the ring general, whined at the post match conference to kesslers face. And lets not even get started about the old days in rugby league when he missed out on selection because the selectors are 'racist'.

I have never seen any of what you say above......not saying its not true...just never seen it........at least he didnt lodge any official protests :rofl
Geale should get on with it.......fight some other guys.....beat them and rematch Mundine......I like Geale he can do it.

Mundine reckoned Sven Ottke: 'hit like a woman' - not that respectful a view of someone who KOed him.

He admitted that Siaca was just too strong, etc.
He may have said that he controlled the ring later on, but it was a SD loss, and I'm sure most people who lose via SD have complained or felt rorted somewhat.

That's because he hasn't been ripped off.

Pretty sure it will be 3 independent judges and not the ones that originally scored, and apparently it will be without commentary. Read it somewhere.

For the record, my scorecard (which is in a thread here somewhere) had Geale by a point. But I reckon any fight where you have a margin of 3 or less points is open to debate. I've also read that the judges only agreed on four rounds overall, and on two of those I was going the other way.

I've heard Mundine whine like a bitch about getting a rematch with Kessler for 2 years until Kessler became his mandatory then he shut the fuck up quicksmart and pissed off south to 160.
But seriously, I've heard some whiny stuff from him after both wins and losses...
After the Ottke loss: it was a lucky punch, he was winning the fight up until then. He also had a cold and the only sparring he had was with his old man in his hotel room in Germany.
After the Echols win: he fought with a broken rib.
After the Siaca loss: he sprained his ankle at training a couple of weeks before the fight (he even had 'video evidence' that was broadcast on the Footy Show).
After the Kessler loss - as mentioned, he carried on at every opportunity about getting a rematch until he actually found himself in a position to get one

Just watched the fight earlier on. Very hard to score, and certainly much closer than the Soliman 1 fight. No doubt the KD was the difference, as for the slip, well, by the laws of the sport, it should have been ruled a KD.
And yes, Michaels' commentary was grotesque. Once again, he mentioned his boring story about how he walked into a Redfern gym 8 or so years ago, saw Mundine train, and said 'This guy is going to be world champion'. :tired
His scoring was all over the place too. He had Mundine winning by about 2 or 3 up until the 9th. Then realized how everyone thinking it's a close ones, and says the next few rounds were too hard to call, yet Geale looked less dominant in them than the ones he gave to Mundine earlier.
He even said after the fight bthat he could go back and change some of his cards.
There was also one round where he said 'It's anybody's round' with one minute to go. Geale dominated the remainder of the round, and after it Michaels said 'I don't like to do it, but I'm calling it even'.
That aside, it was a good fight to watch, and Geale impressed me a lot more than I thought he would. I admit, I thought he'd be close to cannon fodder even for a declining Mundine, but he showed that he's solid, and should get himself a couple of title shots in the coming years.
He dictated the pace of the fight, and really took Mundine out of his comfort zone. If only he had a bit of snap in his punches, it may well have been a different story.
Looking forward to seeing his next couple of fights.

I had Mundine by two points. At the end of the day it was the kind of fight where nobody can cry robbery.

Nobody who heard Daniel Geale on DSS' radio show tonight would have rated him anything other than a class act.
He came across as a terrific young bloke, unaffected by his comparative success, modest, unassuming, and he was absolutely gracious in defeat from the other night.
Mundine, also interviewed on the show, was quite a contrast!!!
