I haven't heard a thing about Matt Skelton since his loss to Martin Rogan. Last I heard he planned on continuing on with boxing, but that was a while ago. Any word?

Well, I have made a lot of connections now and have a lot of fighters to choose from, but my recording device died a few weeks ago, so I can't conduct any interviews at the moment. I will probably end up doing an interview with Shannon Briggs next though.

Really... i have Skelton a few steps ahead of Sprott who is basically a Journeyman for the Germans these days.

Nice Briggs knows a lot about boxing always liked his interviews. He is another fighter that seems to be on the verge of retirement :-(

 Good to hear i like Briggs hope he tries one last time for a title shot. If Ruiz can mix it with heavies like Chagaev and Valuev i can't see why Shannon can't

I have been hanging around the Aussie forum lately, but there is a right twat that seems to be getting the better of me in there. Highly annoying. Glad to be back in the brit forum again though.:thumbsup

I hope Skelton calls it a day, he's a decent guy but he'll never be a champion and taking head shots from a heavyweight when your 40 years old is asking for trouble .... He gave it a shot , got some good paydays but hes the kind of fighter that could be seriously damaged in the ring because he doesnt have a boxer's basic defensive skills .. Williams, Harrison and Skelton should give it up ....

Hey Charles, you've got a great avator .. People forget or dont realise how good Riddick Bowe was for a 4 year spell in the late 80s, early 90s .. He was a sensational, attacking heavyweight who just didnt have the dedication to be a long lasting champion but he was a hell of a talent ..

I have had this avatar since the beginning of my time here at ESB, and I never plan on changing it. The avatar is the only way fellow members remember who is posting what these days. When are you going to get one? Any ideas on who or what it will be?

Charles i have so many favourite boxers that i just couldnt pick one to have as an avator . So im thinking it has to be either, Elvis, Axl Rose or Bon Scott. 3 personal heroes of mine ..

As a fellow Elvis fan I recommend that you find a kick ass Presley pick and rock that avatar. I don't think I have ever seen an Elvis avatar yet. It would be unique.:thumbsup

Hopefully we've seen the last of the unbelievably talentless SkeltonThat's a bit harsh don't you think? He may have an ugly rough house style (which I tend to like in a fighter), but he also has one hell of a chin. And he has gotten far with what little boxing skill he has, which is very admirable.
