I grudgingly go for Wlad by stoppage.

The fight will mirror Lewis vs Rahman II, though would be slightly less one sided and go a round or two more.

For me, Vitali is an easier fight for Haye based upon a number of factors....

I'm going for Haye only because he copes with pressure well and his punches are more than enough to hurt Wlad, and he just needs one. Wlad's jabs should frighten him and force him to keep his hands higher....maybe!

Yeah I guess so. Was just thinking though that Haye will be firing back and leaving himself more open than Rahman was, he just seemed to sit on the ropes and wait for the ref to jump in.

Rahman comparison aside, Wlad generally softens his opponents with the jab then stops them late. Rarely do we see an explosive one punch KO from him, it's just not in his make up. Haye may give Wlad some problems early but Wlad has learnt to use his physical gifts to most effect and he'll stay out of trouble with the jab and bring in the right hands late.

He is physically capable, he just hasn't got the mental capability. I do have a nasty feeling that Haye will bring out the best in Wlad. :-(

Hayes problem is that to win he'll have to take chances to win, Wlad has the luxury of being able to win without taking chances.

It's not that I hate Wlad, far from it. I just want to see someone throw a spanner in the HW title scene.

Wlad has all the advantages but i'm going Haye. The one thing Wlad still cant do is fight going abckwards and Haye is just about dumb/brave enough to charge right at him.

If Haye lets Wlad get settled on his front foot though , its curtains !

Haye needs to work very hard in keeping his head moving ducking and head side to side action trying to slip the long jab to close the range in order to land them hooks. Haye also need to watch out when he goes for them wild hooks he goes a bit off balance, and Wlad will be looking for that straight right its like a hammer hitting your face.

I am not ruling out Haye early to mid, it is possible, but I believe he has to win earlyish - he hasn't the stamina or style to win this fight over 10 or more rounds IMO

Wlads jab and grab might render Haye totally ineffective from the word go, and when Haye desperately tries to mix it up he may find Wlad is way too strong for him... that's what I expect

I voted Haye in all poll's but again maybe it's wishful thinking to an extent. I do believe he has the best chance of anyone in the world (aside from his own brother) to beat Wlad. Also I do worry that Haye will only be expecting straight shots and Wlads left hook is very underrated imo. I just hope Haye can avoid a big bomb as he tries to get inside and land

I just think he'll be too big, too strong and too heavy-handed for Haye.

If Haye pulls it off it'll send shockwaves through boxing. My heart is with that, but I have to see the logical sense that Wlad will be too much.

If Haye had an iron chin it'd be quite a different proposition...

I'm 50/50.I think it's whoever lands the first big bomb.Will Haye get passed Wlads Jab or will Wlad be able to keep Haye at range and wear him down then land a big bomb.Neither have great chins.Whoever gets hurt first I think goes.
