View Full Version : Cotto v Clottey NO VIC venues yet!

With just over a week to go, there are no Victorian venues listed telecasting this fight. Main Event/FoxSports is out and it's on SKY only. Before I ring up a local venue or two I was wondering if anyone else here in Melbourne was interested in this fight, and the venue they normally attend to watch a fight on SKY - if there's a group interested, then maybe we can call a common venue and put the hard word on them to show the bout! I don't want to miss a Cotto fight and would prefer not to take a risk looking for a viable online stream.

funny no one responds im currently in the States and getting to see everything but in Sept Im moving to Townsville and I guess the only way to follow boxing is ESB as they just dont show shit on the Aussie cables Sky, Main event, etc.....

Nobody in Melbourne, certainly nobody near my home, took Geale vs Mundine. They didn't even seem to know it was on!

3 days out from the fight and still no Melbourne venues:twisted::| !!!

Inkerman Hotel in Balaclava is showing the fight for all Vics.

Leon do you have a Sky schedule for this telecast? In the states the main event is listed to start at 12.35pm our time - they aren't showing the Calderon fight. Our telecast starts at 11 am which sounds like the undercard will be shown?

They will i believe show top prospect Matt Korobov's 4 rounder followed by Ivan Calderons world title match.
