Yep.

Jake LaMotta fought Tony Janiro at a catchweight of 154 or 155, for example.

Believe Joey Giardello fought in a few as well, perhaps against Billy Graham.

Does Leonard-LaLonde count?

I think that's more "infamous".

Whitaker-Chavez was infamous, but not because of the 145 catchweight.

Funny you should say that, "infamous" was the word I was going to use but I didn't want to risk the thread getting sidetracked!!

Wasn't that at 168 though? It technically took place at a real weight class, not a catchweight.

Leonard-Hearns 2.

It was for two 168 lb. titles, but the contracted weight was 163.

Wasn't Duran-SRL III a catchweight

I don't think so.

I read an article in the NYTimes discussing the weight issue. It was for the super middleweight title, yet both guys weighed 160 and below. After they weighed so low, there was some talk whether or not there would be titles at 160 and 168 at stake. They decided on only having the 168 lb. titles at stake.

Jimmy McClarnin fought Pancho Villa at a catchweight leading to Villa's death a week later.

I think the Castillo - Corrales rematch was re-arranged as a catchweight fight after Castillo failed to make weight?
