I would say about the same round that Lennox Lewis did. What was that 5 or 6?

I do wonder how much Vitali's inactivity will affect him. He is not a young man anymore and McCline has stayed fairly busy.

Vitali will beat the piss outta McCline, Jameel will cry & Vitali will probably stop beating him somewhere around the 5th round. :D

I would say about the same round that Lennox Lewis did. What was that 5 or 6? No doubt about it, as McCline & Lewis have had comparable careers. :nut
If Vitali has much of anything left, he should win. If not, McCline may have one of the best wins of his career. Kudos to Vitali for not picking a safe return fight.

This is a safe fight as McCline is a light punching fighter who is coming off of a devastating Injury.

...but Vitali is too, with inactivity. Very interesting bout. :smoke

8th round.
Then he wakes up, and later on that day gets battered in the actual bout.

He does seem to lack the power you'd think a man of his size would have, but he is not entirely without power.
He did drop Byrd with one good shot, and also held his own, pretty well, against the slick Byrd. That is saying something, as McCline is not known as being any kind of skilled boxer, but he is fairly fast handed and skilled. Also, we know he was getting to Valuev in the second and third rounds of that fight, and was doing what many could not against Valuev.
So I think McCline is a very ballsy fight for a comeback fighter like Vitali who has been out almost three years.
Vitali could have picked a Rydell Booker type opponent as a comeback, as many others have.

I always saw Mccline as some sort of journeyman haha:think
I think he's up there in the middle. But I DO consider this as a VERY safe fight (of course considering that anything can happen in boxing)

Pretty solid scenarion, 'cept I think it takes a round or two longer.
Vitali TKO 7
McCline is a big joke. Vitali Klitschko is going to give him a beating and I look for McCline to quit on his stool.

You guys bash and batter McCline, but here's a guy with zero amateur career and a very late start in boxing that molded himself into a heavyweight contender and beat some top guys like Goofi, Briggs, Grant, and coming within a whisker of beating Byrd for a world title.
Sure, he's not as aggressive as he should be, but he also has a fraction of the ring experience of the Klits.

I would say, perhaps, the 23rd round.
That's a guess of when Vitali would become bored of watching McCline recover from being knocked out, takes a nap, McCline wakes up and pretends he threw a punch to down Vitali, a new ref is brought in and the ref counts to 10.
In reality, Vitali within 8, and probably less. Vitali has something to prove and JM is looking for a paychceck, I think.

vitali will make ktfo mccline brutally in the 5th and make him tear ligaments in both knees this time.
The only way McCline is going to stop Vitali is he Vitali either injures himself or catches him with such a blind punch that Vitali goes out. I dont see that happening so I think this is just a warmup fight for Vitali.

Well, Vitali could injure himself and have to stop the fight. And, that would count as a stoppage win for Big Time. Nah, McCline will find a way to lose before that happens.
Reminds me of Flatlanders thread "Will Wlad be intimidated by rematch with Brewster?
I expect Vitali to look very rusty and awkward yet pull out a win by TKO in the late rnds by suprisingly close fight.

McCline is a live opponent but I doubt he will win. It's not out of the question but I`m pretty sure Vitali will get the KO mid round.
This is not prime Vitali were talking here. He's coming off a long layoff. How you know his knee isn't gonna' pop out in the 2nd rnd? In fact the winner will probably be who's ever knees holds out first. Or first one who pops a knee losses.
Vitali by TKO
That's what I was talking about this time it's Vitali's back.
I doubt he will be able to avoid these types of injuries in training anymore.
McCline too for that matter.
