According to a recent interview in Germany's leading box mag"Boxsport" Vitaly recently spoke with Lewis.
Vitaly:"He(Lewis) said that he would return to the ring if I came back. However, there is one condition:the money offer must be that high that his eyes pop out of his eye sockets when reading the numbers. In the meantime I had some talks and I can promise that if I win the world title American tv will offer Lewis such a huge sum of money that Lewis cant say no"

I doubt it, be sad to see an old, way past prime and possibly out of shape Lewis out there anyway. There's a new heavyweight division emerging, let new names like Povetkin, Wlad, Solis, Haye, Chagaev and Peter be the future of heavyweight division, to much of the 'old guard' around distracting fans as it is.

Lewis had $15,000,000.00 on the table and said " No Thanks " after telling the press he would fight Vitlay at least three times. He opted to retire. But that was vs a sharp Vitlai Klitschko. Lewis didn't want to risk his legacy for cash. Actions speak louder than words. Leiws doubted he could win again. $15,000,000.00 is a lot of money. Who would not fight for that?

However, that was then and this is now. If Vitlai looks rusty and beatable, Lewis might take the same amount of money. I suspect Lewis will be watching Vitali vs McCline with great interest. If Vitlai wins, but struggles, the fight can be made in the future.

I reckon Lewis would do it for $50million, so what would Vitali get? $10m? $60m is 1m PPV buys at $60 each, before anybody makes any money. Probably the networks take 30-40%, so maybe double that to pay them, and to make a bit of money. If it could do 3m buys, then it would be paid for.

Lewis already beat him, and now hes happily retired. No reason to come back.

I don't care to see this fight. The heavyweight division has moved on since the days of Lennox Lewis and new potential superstars are emerging.

lewis-klit 2 would be a meaningless fight at this point, and would serve only to satisfy vk's ego
