At 130 - 135 Chavez was considered pretty unbeatable.

With PBF now on the scene, Chavez's star seems to have wained slightly.

Would Chavez have beaten Floyd at 135 lbs?

Castillo did, and Chavez does Castillo better than Castillo.

So: yes, absolutely and lopsidedly.

Julio Cesar Chavez is an ATG great warrior while PBF is a zero-loss-minded coward and avoids same-weight WW greats (Cotto and Mosley)

PBF would have put on a clinic had this fight happened at 130 too much lateral movement handspeed, defense and countering ability for JCC PBF by UD:deal PBF at 130 was the GOAT and was a terror at that weight with that said I expect the haters to chime in and say JCC by KO or some dumb shit like that.:-( At 135 it becomes much closer but stylistically I would favor PBF.

mayweather grins ear to fucking ear going 4-0 on the cards ... then loses his smile the very first rib breaking left hook he gets tagged with in the 5th ... by the 7th he's spitting up blood ... by the 10th ..his face will be like beef ... the 12th ...if he makes it .. .he'll walk away a shell of what he was coming into the fight ...

PBF is also 10x the defensive fighter Taylor ever was.:deal Pea gave Chavez hell with his defense and found him a difficult puzzle to solve and PBF would be no different.

135, I think Chavez beats Mayweather, that was Julio at his absolute peak, a machine.
Wouldnt be an easy fight tho, it would be a great fight.

If Floyd uses plenty of movement and puts forth a flawless defensive plan, he would box Chavez silly for the UD Whitaker should've gotten.
