My inclination is to go with Lennox.

Opinions?

I went with Lennox, but if you were to give an option to choose them as even in this poll I probably would've chose that.

They seemed to get the job done. That's like asking Ladainian Tomlinson or Barry Sanders. Both are otherworldly talents and you cannot be wrong choosing either one.

Barry Sanders, and Lennox Lewis.

Then everyone would choose the even option.

One has to be better than the other. Discuss.

Like I said I choose Lewis.

I'd favour Lewis' in terms of power as he put more leverage in his right hand. Wlads is a powerful punch as well but it's not such an obvious weapon as it was for Lewis as his left hook is pretty good as well.

i think lewis right is stronger but wlads is a little faster

I think Wlads jab and hook off the jab are his most impressive punches. You have to have tremedous speed and upper body strength to throw that combination as effectively as he does. I would say as far as righthands Lewis was better.

The right hand of Lennox is proven against better competition.

wlad has the more powerful right hand, jab, and left hook; but none of that changes the fact that lennox was the better boxer

Lewis had a great right hand, but Wlads is a thing of beauty.

There may seem to be little to choose between the two, but let's not forget that Lewis's right hand did the business at a higher level than what Wlad has yet to see. Levels aside, I would still choose Lewis, I think he threw his right hand with a bit more natural ability.

Lewis was definitely more inclined to open up with his right, committed more to the punch, being guilty of winging at times. Wlad has a more balanced offensive arsenal, and has been more paced since his disastors, so we see less of the right.

I think Lennox's one-punch power in his right hand is greater than that of Wlad's, although this might be because Wlad doesn't 'sit-down' on his punches as much as Lennox sometimes would. The punch Wlad hit Calvin Brock with, however, was about as devastating a right hand as any you will ever see.

Still, IMO, edge to Lewis.
