Hes been out of the game since 99 theres no way he comes back a contender, I would love to see him come back and rape Wlad literally. For some reason I think Wlad might like that.

He's been up for parole several times but he is always invariably denied parole. I believe that part of his parole would involve him admitting guilt, but Novi interviewed him less than a year ago and he still denied committing the crime. He's still crazy, as well as obese, so I wouldn't expect to ever see him again in a boxing ring.

34 years old
Thanks.

He is crazy. But if he could be 'repackaged' into anything remotely close to what he once was (a huge task, to be sure), he would immediately be a top prospect. Compared with some of the more-legitimate guys today, he's actually pretty young.

Compared with some of the more-legitimate guys today, he's actually pretty young. 3 and a half years is a long time to be out via tyson, but close to 9 years is an eternity. The only man to be out that long and come successful is Big George and I dont think Ike can come back that successfully.

Who the hell would promote this POS, who'd want to be anywhere close to this crazy bastard?

Ike is a POS, waste of oxygen, and will just end up back in jail again, that's why he's been denied parole in the past.

I think you are almost certainly correct, box03.

The only reason I would give Ike any chance was because he was such a physical specimen (with or without some, um, 'help) and he had good, basic skills he might still have 'ingrained' in his body. But for those two things, zero chance, IMO. And even with them, probably zero chance as well.

One other factor - I'd imagine he needs money pretty badly, too, which is always a good factor (but which also could land him with a leach like King).

He did have the perfect attributes to be a great heavywieght I just think his time has come and gone, plus I rather not see a shell of his former self coming back just to collect pay check off what people used to remember him for.

george foreman come back after 10 years. he would of probably ko'd wlad back when he was in his early 40's

I am not making any predictions until we see ike fight. that could be 12th of never but always have hope

He spend his 30 years behind bars, perhaps 27 or 26 at the least. What he did was not something to be taking for granted. If out on the streets, he still be a danger the communtiy.

Rape is pretty serious imo. And on my list, only murder or hurting a child would be worse imo.

HE WAS DOING EXTRA TIME FOR ATRTACKING GUARDS WAN'T HE? I DON'T KNOW THE FULL CASE. Mike tyson never done that long for rape

Well what ever the case with Tyson, he or she said. We can have belivers or non belivers with Tyson if he didnt do it.

With Ike, EVEYONE knows he did it. Holding off the police didnt help matters either.

I understand both Tyson and Ike have been convicted of rape, as far as Tyson is concerned if anybody did any research on the case you will find that he really was innocent, I mean who does 3 and a half years for rape anyway. The truth was Tyson loved rough sex I just think he forgot to fill dezerea washington in on it, Tyson is an animal in out of the ring thats way he was brought up what do you expect Tyson to cuddle with you after se. The man had problems no doubt, but why would he pick her to rape when he already had 100s of girls waiting in line to have sex with him.

Both Axel Shultz & Tommy Morrison easily beat that version of George, that leads me to believe that the current version of Wlad beats him even easier.

IKE vs BOWE in a fight of "coulda-been's"

I doubt they'll let him out, he's fucking nut-case and always has been. I'm sure I read somewhere he's actually mentally ill?

Shame because he was a VERY good fighter, would have probably given Lewis hell back in the day. His KO of Byrd was a thing of beauty. That version of Ike would have been a very tough nights work for anyone - especially WALD.

This is how Ibeabuchi looked like 1-2 years ago...
I dont think we will see him in the ring again.
The man is mentally sick,...

Should he comeback Don King is the man who could do it..
And I still think he could do some serious damage in the division.
His pressure style, was very effective and dangerous.

But as I said before, I dont think it will happend....

Exactly. I just love how boxing fans get so excited about this never-was, who has exactly TWO - count 'em, TWO - victories over fighters above the journeyman level, and is now so far past whatever "prime" he may have had that it is a question whether he could even beat a decent journeyman!:patsch

He's a nutcase who belongs in prison or in a mental instutition.

He won't be able to fight at a very high level in boxing anyway after all that time in prison.

I dont think Ike is as bad as James Butler.
