I ordered my subscription in early June, $50.00. Everyday I run to my mailbox all excited only to no avail. The website said allow 6-8 weeks for delivery and now it's September and I'm pretty sure I'm way past that amount of time. A few days ago I got Rings Boxing Almanac, a little black and white deal that showed some neat facts but no mag.
I was wondering if any of you guys had to wait an extra long time to get yours?? And I'm about to die waiting just to see how it's laid out and what's in it?? Feels like waiting for a hot chick to call you, when you know deep down somewhere inside it's not going to happen. Any comments please??:hat

I just get mine from the newsagent, 6-8 weeks for delivery seems strange, usually with subscriptions you get the magazine the morning it hits stores or even the day before. Have you called them?

If like me you have a newstand that you can buy Ring, KO, Boxing Monthly, etc.

Just buy them as they come out. Though you are getting a discount with the subscription, when you buy them direct you don't have to worry about them being all bent and wrinkled by the mailman.

I live in West Virginia and have searched high and low before I decided to just subscribe from the website. I am dyeing to get my first issue. I can't find anywhere to buy it locally: news stands, book stores, no where.

It's time for you to move into civilization, my friend.

I think Boxing Digest is much better than The Ring. The Ring doesn't pay much attention to fighters outside the American continent.

When will THE RING get an internet, version ?? ( With payment )
Dont see any reason, why I need the paper magazine.

I dont mind paying for it., Maxboxing/Boxingtalk are good examples on how they could make an online version of "THE RING"....
( and still make it a good business, -even better than today ! )

I actually prefer Boxing Digest, too. I subscribe to BD and there website is decent. I pick up the Ring from newsstands every once in a while when there is a particular article that catches my attention.

I do wish that Boxing Digest would bring back the Round Card Girl of the Month feature in it's print version, however. Why did they stop that?

Good Lord!! As I said in an earlier post I have never been able to find it. I did think $50.00 was a little high for a subscription price. But if that is what they charge for a monthly issue then I guess I'm getting a pretty good deal!!

Thats the price in Australia for the Air Freight (current) issue, or you can spend $10.00AU and get the Sea Freight issue which is about 2 months behind, when there is really no point reading it anymore.

Ahhh, O.K. I thought that was the price for U.S. News stands (as I have never been able to find it I wouldn't know). I was starting to feel a little disgusted for buying into an entity so greedy. I JUST WANT MY FIRST ISSUE ALREADY!!!

Great magazine....

But when will they "Enter the Millenium" we need an online version of the Ring magazine with Subscription via Visa ect....

No need for all those old magazines, 99 % read it once and that ist.

I used to buy it every month, now I am a member of Maxboxing/boxingtalk.

If they made an online version of ring magazine, I would be a member right now.....

Just buy them when they hit newsstands, I'm frequently in the States and you have them at every newsstand ... Up here in Canada though, there is really no interest in boxing, so not many of our newsstands or convenience stores carry them ... I usually have to go to a mall or a local chapters/indigo to get my issues.
