You can get a wire for as cheap as £7 to hook up your laptop to the tv. Hope this helps if you can't get setanta in time :good

I can't see how buying a business which hemmorages 100 million a year for 20 million is greedy. For the first couple of years it'll continue to lose a lot so in reality they're paying 200 million.

100 million is Setanta's reported annual losses.

20 million is what is being offered to current shareholders in return for 51% of the shares, not what money would be put into the company. Clearly a large injection of cash would be required to ease the immediate problems.

Can't think of much that you can just microwave along those lines. You can get rustlers burgers to do in the microwave, they do chicken, ribs etc. but thats all I can think of.

They have till tomorrow (I think) to secure the Premiership contract - they need it to stay competitive.

It seems to be rumbling on until the deadline to pay for remaining on the football rights, which I believe is tommorrow. If Setanta don't make this payment then the PL will auction them off to other bidders.

Who knows what this impact will be on Setanta's business model? Whatever happens, they need to change their business model because they cannot keep operating with these heavy annual losses?
