You know - always thinking and talking they are the best - no matter what.
Can never accept being second best.
Always got to be seen to be NO 1 no matter what.
Talking themselves up and refusing to bow down to anyone.
Big headed - and very prideful - can only see things from their point of view.
Can never accept any weakness about them - or admit to being lesser than a rival.
All boxers have big egos - its normal to have big headed boxers
But out of them all.......................
Which Top British boxer has the biggest ego?
From Heavyweight downwards..................

Hatton
mainly because of the constant talking about himself in the 3rd person
Hatton
mainly because of the constant talking about himself in the 3rd person
But on the same note David Haye refers to himself in the third person but refers to himself as the 'Hayemaker'.
Which in my view is far worse, but Hatton does grind with it.

Ricky Hatton has a bigger ego than all the rest combined........and I really mean that.

Hatton.
Why are Haye, Woods, Arthur and Moore on the poll?

So does amir khan, have you watched the LA diaries? I dont think it helps when journos ask you in the 3rd person, for example , "what can we expect to see from hatton" rather than "what can we erxpect to see from you"
Hatton.
Why are Haye, Woods, Arthur and Moore on the poll?
I agree with you about Moore, Arthur and Woods but Haye has got a massive ego.

It's a shame Haye got so many votes as he is probably the only one who admits he has weaknesses.

at british level, he's still a handful....he may not have done it above that level...but at BRITISH level, he's still a handful.
and i'm not a fan of his at all...just being realistic

Ego
I mean
Uncompromising
No matter what
they will always just say or do whatever their ego will say
Haye admits his faults and weakness - which is a humble thing to do

You're right about that even though I voted for him. I don't know what it is but I think the reason I like Haye so much is because he has the charisma to back up his arrogance and I really like that in a fighter. :?
Whats happened to you Flint?
Are you rolling with Haye now?

Haye is my favourite fighter, but I still think he has the biggest ego.:D Thats part of what I like about him though, hes arrogant but in a good way.

Hatton gets my vote but its really between Hatton and Khan.Votes for Haye could be easily justified though. The others shouldn't really get a vote between them

Either Haye, Hatton or Khan.
My opinion is that none of them are really anything like their public personas which are contrived to sell fights and to instill self belief. Its almost part of a boxers training.
Some are better/worse than others at hyping themselves but deep down they are all regular guys. The true master at this was Ali ofcourse , he really laid the blueprint that subsequent boxers have tried to emulate. Ali did it with style and a warmth that isnt easy to fake.
Having said that i voted for Haye simply because i wanted to see the results

Hatton.
He's easily the most deluded anyway, the most over-inflated ego anyway...considering he's never as good as he thinks he is.
Made all the worser by the fact that he tries to tell/convince us all the time how humble he is.....yeah right Wicky.

its a close call i voted for khan, because he talks as if he has done something, which he clearly hasnt.....and then witter who has the biggest mouth for a overrated fighter.

khan, not only big headed, but a very mediocre fighter.

LMAO- Clinton Woods aint got an ego! Why is he on here? Of all of them I'm going for Arthur. Never won his world title in the ring and talks like he's Duran. As a bloke he seems like quite a grounded guy, but when he talks about boxing the guy really annoys me. 'If Nicky Cook is ducking me I have no choice but to move up to lightweight'. Yeah you show Marquez, The Diaz Clan, Valero, Pacman et al! Obvously why Pacman moved to LWW.
Khan will become the greatest boxer ever if he can just mentally superimpose Nick Griffins ugly fat one-eyed face onto that of his opponents.

Hatton. Maccarinelli deserves an honourable mention though, given how deluded and mediocre he is.

This. Hatton followed closely by Macca and David Haye. Well I say closely but maybe not so much.

I wouldnt say a lot of those guys have big egos at all. Naz had the biggest ego of a British fighter, but out of the poll guy's i'm not so sure. Ricky just seems delussional, Haye just seems supremely confident of his abilities
