I still can't believe that Mercer found a way to lose to Kimbo Slice. A former olympic gold medalist and former WBO heavyweight champion gets taken down by a street fighter. That was embarrassing!

How so? Mercer knows how to BOX. Thats is it. Kimbo used MMA techniques to win. So what? Means nothing.

Yeah, but still. A trained professional fighter like Mercer should have been able to do more than just stand there and get taken down. Mercer had street fights when he was growing up. Mercer had a bit of a wrestling background. It's not like Mercer was just programmed to box and couldn't adjust or mix his game up.....And Mercer trained for MMA just like Kimbo did.

Tim calling him out for a god damn Boxing match, and then at the press conference Mercer is told he can't box. Fuck him.

I hope the 48 year old decent contender in Boxing knocks out that former UFC champion. Oh man, it'd be awesome!

If you get caught in a guillotine you get choked out simple. Mercer is a boxer. No amount of "street fights" is going to teach him "how" to defend MMA technique when the guy is approaching 50.
