I had a fucking nightmare, no, two nightmares, trying to do this thread. It originally contained a load of little bits of trivia and matching photographs with Hagler, Liston, Foster, Tiger and Moore and was nearly done both times before I misclicked onto something else and it all got wiped. Twice!

Its the black face in the front.
Louis boxed to segregated audiences in the States.
The US Army tried to pull that over in the UK, but Louis said "this isnt the States , no Jim Crow shit here", he spoke to some top brass ,and got all his ring work in Europe before integrated crowds , of service men, no mean acheivement in those times.
