Yeah with mine it cos it rains and it starts it don't know if that happens to yours or it just cutting up for a technical reason. As you said have to be patient but with mine once it cracks up all over screen it's like that for hours. So just have to stay on ere in case and if it does i have to watch it somewhere else :D

its more than likely your signal being recieved from your dish, the setanta channels are always the first ones to go

get a big brush with a long handle....go outside, nice and easy, don't make much noise...make your way to your dish...there you will find a bat sitting on your lnb...hit the bastard as hard as you can with the brush.
when you are satisfied that it is now an ex-bat, go back inside and check your signal....if you are still getting a no signal error, you have most likely broke your dish with a brush...

when setanta 1 messed up for me i rang them up and they told me to go to services,system set up, add channels. they gave me the details for setanta 1 and i added it. whenever setanta 1 breaks up i go to services,other channels and setanta 1 is there and it works fine, no pixelation. this will probabaly only work for people watching on sky.

Try ringing them up for details for adding setanta 2.

I'm talking of the real TV subscription.Its working fine right now,but for what you pay on top of what Sky already costs its shite.I missed the whole Jones/Trinidad fight because of it once,then overslept for a work meeting and got a bollocking:tiredThat left a bitter taste

Yeah it happened once during a football game to me. They blamed on atmospheric interference affecting the satellite. Funny how every other fucking channel on sky was working at the time.

I've moved the sky box and also played about with wires a little and it has helped but mine seems to be based on movement. At the moment it's crackling but not so bad now it seems to be going back to ok.
