View Full Version : Hatton Castillo 4th round
EL BULLY
09-03-2007, 02:56 PM
Just watched Hatton Castillo again. The body shot that finished Castillo was actually the 8th real vicious left hook to the body that Hatton landed. Castillo looked real beat up when the ref breaks the action to dock him a point. So I think that it takes something away from Hatton to see the fight as a one punch KO, it was actually a pretty brutal and systematic beating. If he can bring his A game I think PBF is in for a bit of a shock.
Fuck I want him to beat Floyd so bad!!

I like Hitman too but it sucks that we do not know what really went on in the fight. Ya that was a great clean hard shot and there were several, it looked like he didnt kill him with that but it looked like Castillo KNEW if he didnt go down the fight would end a lot uglier than that. He knew he could not hang with the Hitman, so he did the right thing and went down.

When Castillo was docked 1 point he basically said to himself "the ref ain't letting me do what I wanna do and is letting Hatton do whatever he wants... I know what's going on here, so fuck it".
I think the crippling pain in his ribs might have been a factor too.

i find it incredible that people can virtually say that a fighter like castillo quit.here is a man who has shown only great heart and bravery throughout his whole career and has never shown the slightest hint in any fight that he would be a quitter.i'm sure that's how he would have been prepared to be remembered as sitting down holding his side apparantly feighning excruciating pain.

Oddly enough I got the same feeling when I was watching the fight. After the ref docked that point, he looked like he just said "fuck it".

I think you pretty much hit the nail in the head with that version. But, I also think that since part of his purse was being witheld he just said screw it. It's not worth it.
"hit the nail on the...." oh fuck off, a boxer goes down from a sickening body punch, which no one would get up from and you say he threw the fight.

He threw alot of punches that seemed to land in that area, that last one must have been the hardest and best placed one tho, if he gets Floyd on the ropes and nails hes sides ribs or even elbows with them shots then hes in for a painful night, Billy Graham is really confident in this fight, he must have a great gameplan.......I cant wait for this fucking fight!!!!!!!!

The HBO announcers were missing alot of the body work Hatton was putting in...and, there's no way in hell Castillo threw that fight. Look at his reaction after not only the punch, but after the fight. It's clear that the punch genuinely hurt him. In fact, I'm fairly certain I saw one of his own cornermen wiping his face off when he was still down on one knee because he was welling up a little bit.
Then again, maybe he should've rolled around like someone put acid in his jock strap like Oscar did.

Up yours, you stupid jackass. Just watch, as soon as a ref enforces the rules and doesn't allow that fatass to hold, grapple, headbutt, and the other crap he pulls, he will get exposed as a limited brawler.
4 of his ribs were broken  do you think he could of carried on?? be realistic.

BTW, that broken rib shit is hearsay. Please provide a credible link of either Castillo saying that or anyone from his team. Or any credible link saying so other than Hatton in an interview, Please.:good

ya..... 4 broken ribs haha you get 4 broken rins when you get hit by a car, you get 4 bruised ribs when you get a really good body shot by a 140 lb guy with a 10 oz pillow.

but when you saw this one:admin left hook comes in short snappy just near the back and smack right on the weaker feeble ribs.
that reaction is exactly what i would expect. he didnt want to move he didnt want to breath when you get a body shot you diaphram freezes up and contracts it is excruitiating

Castillo did not throw that fight. A great Mexian warrior decides to quit and risk ruinging everything he's worked for? Yeah right!

Yeh at first i thought hewas going for a low blow, but then when you see the replays, you see in his face that it hurts him straight away.
Also there were numerous good bodyshots landed throughout the fight by hatton.
Damm i was so excited before this fight.

Nothing on Earth would make a finer December than Hatton ko ro ud. I really don't think he's going to do it. PBF is slick as hell. If Hatton can find him and make him pay it will be awesome.
