I forgot this fight was last night or else I wouldn't have come here today. Usually Sundays after fight there are retarded threads but days like today it goes beyond retarded. :tired

I don't worry too much about the trolls and the haters. As I mentioned in another thread, Mercer's win does nothing to change my perceptive of either sport, the same way a Sylvia win wouldn't have either.
For me, the sports don't compete and I could care less if boxer X could beat MMA fighter Y, or vice versa.

If it makes some people feel better to bash MMA, whether it be from the Mercer victory or anything else, I say let em have their fun. It's irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

I just want to see entertaining fights, in both boxing and MMA. I'm not going to get in a pissing contest over which sport is better.
