Maybe so, but pac-man is out of the equation at this point in time (could never be ready for the July 18th date), so Marquez would have to fight someone else if he does not want the mayweather fight postponed.

I think if this fight ever happens he's giving Juan more chance as he can adjust and have more time to fill into weight.
Sad it won't be happening but i see the huge fights happening sometime soon so i be patient.

Very true ishy and now the khan fight maybe in doubt due to kotelnik getting a tooth infection.

Are the contracts for this fight off to the shredder???? :think

Yeah, you expect the odd fight to get postponed every now and then but this is 3 pretty big fights in the space of a month :-(

Fighters nowadays compared to the warriors of old are so 'precious' ..
Harry Greb and Joe Frazier used to fight with vision in one eye, Back Injuries, Tooth Aches and these kinds of slight injuries were always affecting fighters, nobody was in perfect shape back then but they gritted they're teeth and thought nothing of it .. It was a different era and the guys from 1900 to 1980 were the true warriors, some of the stories from the 20s/30s and 40s are absolutely inspiring ..
Im probably being harsh on Mayweather and Haye because i dont know the extent of they're injuries but i have a feeling that if a fighter in the 20s had they're injuries they'd just get in the ring and fight .. Nowadays a fighter needs to have the psychological comfort that he is in perfect shape. Also in the glory days they fought so often that it was inevitable that they were never 100% when they entered the ring ..

It seems that they all need to be rapped up in cotton wool. I mean the Murray and lawton fight could have easily been called off. I mean I know its not in the same seetings as the other three called off, but the way they train needs to be looked at.

What is going on here ?
1st Valuev Chagaev is off
2nd Haye Klitschko is off
3rd Khan kotelnik is virtually off
4th Mayweather Marquez is off.
All in the space of a month. Is something going on here that us people at ESB are clearly oblivious to ? Fighters nowadays just generally seem to show so much disregard to contract its unbelievable.
This is pissing me off now !

That wouldnt surprise me, but if it really was postponed due to a rib injury, Mayweather could have had a tough time with whoever he was sparring???

I wouldnt be suprised to see the fight go ahead, Matt hattons no bill topper in his own right, but Zab Judah is.

God knows mate. I've got no problem with a fighter getting his shot at the big time. Its good for them and good for the sport in reality that people get these shots now and again and are able to realise their dreams. Just not this prick thats all. He unlike the Jennings'/Locketts of the world doesn't appreciate the fact that he isn't world class and probably doesn't desreve it. He thinks he's big time and I hate him !! :-)

What's not good for the sport is this muppet getting TV time on the undercard of Ricky Hattons fights in Vegas when a real prospect or better should be fighting.eg.Pac/DLH undercard=stacked with JuanMa Lopez and Victor Ortiz.
I was pleased for Jennings to get a decent payday vs Cotto. He atleast has good boxing skills and is a nice bloke-he has atleast had domestic success.

Yep you know i'm not gonna argue that.
I find it amazing that someone who gets beat (ON POINTS - NO LUCKY K/O) by a David Kirk who came into the fight with a record of something like 9-43 and then gets thouroughly beaten infront of all his fans(his brothers fans too) by a solid domestic fighter who couldn't make it at European level, still gets this kind of exposure and still venamately denies it has anything to do with who his brother is.
Makes me mad thinking about it !

He has looked improved of late under Lee Beard though to be fair. I can see your point completely but he looked good against Tackie and Bami

Both of them are shot though particularly Tackie.Good names but nothing more than that.I'm not exaggerating saying he is area level. He was beaten comfortably enough by Craig Watson. He doesn't seem to want to acheive anything by himself.Fuck knows how he got this opportunity to fight Judah on a big card without his brother. If Ricky retires,he might aswell do the same because all he has been doing is fight bums on his undercards
