I imagine it being close since Shane does get troubled by jabs and tends to slug it out> Some scary moments before he takes this one over the distance. Imho.

Mosley on points for me, this is an excitement natured battle and i just see Shane as having more of a varied offensive arsenal. I don't write off Quartey however and certainly see his jab as causing Shane problems, just more often than not i pick Shane here

Ike's jab would probably dictate the action at long range. He was far more of a pure boxer than Mosley, although aggressively for the most part. Ike's jab output was something to behold when firing on all cylinders. Just watch his jabbing clinics against Lopez and Park. Mosley's athleticism and movement would serve him well when it came to slipping Ike's jab. His best work was without question at mid-range where he triggered off 3's and 4's to the body and head. I can't see Mosley's getting involved in a boxing match with Ike. He'd only use the jab to get himself inside, try to do damage, then slide away again to set up his next attack.

This fight would certainly be a barnburner. Mosley wasn't the type of fighter to shy away from a heated affair at welterweight. Not in his make-up to fight negatively. And while Quartey's would more than likely be the boxer, he'd always be coming forward and well within range while doing so. Throw in his bazooka right hand, behind the jab, trying to take Mosley's head off his shoulders and you have a serious amount of smoke in the arena.

Well i want everyone to know that paragraph definitively breeks down both men's styles in short. From now on if anypne wants to analyse either Ike Quartey's or Shane Mosley's styles and are in any way lacking in knowledge in such areas, refer to that paragraph.

That is all, i don't want any bullshit everyone.
