It certainly would be fair to overturn the stoppage but it is not likely to happen. There is no instant replay in MMA although there should be in cases like that. A fighters career or current contract should be better protected from unfortunate referee decisions or by circumstances that are not easily identified in real time.

he is just waisting his time,it sucks but if the ref didnt see it then what can you do about it?i thought it was obvious he got poked in the eye but thats just me

Yep, if the ref doesn't see the foul there's not much you can do. Cro Cop wasn't going to stop and say "Oops sorry, I poked him in the eye. Let's take a break."
Sucks for Al-Turk and it's too bad it happened the way it did, but nothing is going to come of his appeal.

Sucks for Al-Turk but suck it up and fight again next time. I'd be pissed but a rematch is the only road he could take. Not that I think they'd give him that either but a court isn't gonna do anything.
