Fans who have purchased tickets for the fight at the O2 Arena are asked to return them to their point of purchase only in order to:

Exchange them for identical tickets for the new date at the MEN Arena, receive a full refund if they cannot make the new date or to purchase additional tickets for the new date and venue. Further information on tickets can be found on [Only registered and activated users can see links]******.tv ([Only registered and activated users can see links]******.tv/) or by telephoning the Frank ****** Promotions Box Office on 01992 550 888 e-mailing tonyvincent@frank******.tv or from all ticket outlets and agents.

has a reason actually been given why its changed to the men ?....surely the 02 has a far higher capacity than men, maybe low ticket sales is the reason......if so,a toothache couldnt have come at a better time or am i being cynical.

I believe some old crooner from back in the day called "Jacko" or something like that already has the O2 booked for that date in July, part of some kind of "comeback tour" apparently:

Michael Jackson is at the O2 on the rearranged date. Capacity is pretty much the same at the MEN as at the O2.

what happens to people with tickets for the O2?

They don't spend three hours trying to actually get away from the venue, so still get home at the same time even if they live in North London?

The top capacity of both is 23k.

maybe for concerts, but the most the O2 can get for fights is just under 20,000. think the MEN is about 16-18,000 for fights

Wikipedia says 21k for the MEN for boxing. Pretty sure Hatton v Tszyu was a sell out at about that figure, and a WWE event there had just about 20000.

Thats so un fair. I hate it when two fights you want to watch are on the same night. Was so looking forward to catching Charlie Zelenoff title match comeback. Maybe I will go for the Khan fight but its a decider!!!!

Who ?:rofl

Added to the fact that the MEN has a better seating capacity AND MSG on a fight night, its a better atmosphere and Khan is from near Manchester giving him a better crowd.

Nope.

He has come up short when being forced to fight inside. Against Willie Limond, and specifically Michael Gomez, he wasn't even passable as an infighter. He still looked like the teenager fresh out of the amateurs it was that bad.

He hasn't got much variety in his offence, either. The things he does well he does very well, but other areas are non existent. For example, he jabs very well, he throws a good right hand a very occasional uppercut. He does it technically very well and with great speed. But where is his left hook? His bodywork?

I don't think we'll ever see Khan throw them. And the reason is simple, its far less risky to keep your punches straight and back to your chin rather than throwing a hook, or moving your hands down to punch to the body. Roach and Khan are completely eliminating risk from their gameplan, for obvious reasons.

Ticket prices and certainly concessions woud have been higher in the capital, meaning more revenue for Mr ******.

I've just called them and this helpful chap put me on hold and then came back and said basically they get a call (or official word direct to them) from Frank ****** (he said Frank ****** so he did some research) to confirm its moving to Manchester, then they send out an e-mail to everyone with tickets that gives you instructions on how to send the tickets back to get your money back.

He said no to worry and just wait for the e-mail from them.

To be fair thats exactly what Viagogo did with my Haye tickets, which surprised me as didn't expect to get a refund. Well pleased when I did though. I just replied to a mail via their site and they refunded it right away, I think this'll be the same with Ticketmaster.
