I love watching UFC whilst i'm no expert i think that there is so much that boxing could take from the marketing side of MMA and the way that the bills are so action packed ( not just the main fight ) ....

anyway more to the point how good do you rate bisping , i'm no expert but do you think he is out of his depth taking on henderson ?? it always seems that Brits get found out at the elite level whilst promoters recognise the marketability that our fans bring here in the UK .

So the question is bisping the real deal ??? do you think he can beat henderson and get a shot at the title ....

I think he can beat henderson he is alot younger faster and is a much better striker (obviously hendo is alot heavier handed), bisping has better ju jitsu but is miles behind hendo in the wrestling department. I think if bisping can avoid being taken down to some degree and keep the fight standing but at a distance he can win. Now i am not saying this will happen but this is the kind of test bisping needs to see if he can fight the best around.

Sorry but its true, he has no base, has been treated v. generously by the UFC because he can sell their product a little better in the UK (somewhat like how Kongo can in France I suspect), and he got outstruck my Matt Hamill, when thats supposed to be his strong point.

You're definietly thinking of somebody else. Firstly, he's from England, there is no 'high level' Jiu Jitsu there at all, and definitely wasn't when he was a kid. In fact there wasn't any anywhere but Brazil.

Dan Henderson is one of the best grapplers ever in MMA, Bisping is not a grappler period.

What you need to understand is that just because fighters train in something called Jiu Jitsu and something called wrestling, the two are not mutually exclsuive. To say Michael Bisping is better in any way on the ground than Hendo is clearly nonsense. HE IS A SECOND RATE STRIKER, if he had a better ground game than Dan Henderson dont you think he'd, uh, use it?

Bisping is somewhat of a descent fighter, who (from what I seen in the Leben fight) seems to put together good game plans to get wins. He plays it safe most of the time and thats why he has done well in the MW division thus far.

I predict Hendo will shoot and get him down and TKO in the 1st. Playing it safe doesn't seem to work against Henderson, he took Rich down everytime he tried to get away. I am pretty interested what happens to be honest, I also predicted that LEben would walk away the winner.

Good fighter. Looked much better at 185. Not proven. I think he has criticised boxing but that's cheap considering he sometimes solely boxes. The fight against the Canadian he looked his most complete.

He is talked about with Franklin, Silva, Henderson etc but he isn't proven on that level unless you include the fight with Evans.

I agree lol. 95% of fighters in the UFC are part time plumbers, 4% are gatekeepers (Koscheck, Swick, Bisping, Forrest, JArdine, Marcus Davis, now Sherk, even Franklin, leites, thiago Silva, McFedries, Fitch., Leben, Grove, Herring, ..I could go on and on and on),

1% are professionals (GSP, Machida (Do one thing right), A. Silva and Lesnar, now you may laugh but this guy is a pro, he endured the rigors of the WWE schedule, entertaining people consistently, showing at house shows, memorizing his lines. Bisping is a good fighter, he has good BJJ & kickboxing skills, he has a fighters heart.... I couldnt give 5 shits that Im British & Bisping is British, I call fighters on how they perform & I feel a lot of fans dislike (for whatever reason) & underrate Bisping.

Henderson is a tough fight & it could go either way but I actually favour Bisping by decision if Im honest.

he is muck but has been treated great by dana to promote mma in the uk and it has worked a treat, he has been given hendo who should have too much for him but hendo is moving very slow these days and really dont have time on his side, bisping if he avoids big shots and takedowns could edge out a points decision using his speed and youth
