Young in terms of a fresh face at the gate to title shot.

I'd hate to see Briggs standing in the middle of the ring trying to punch someone who's circling around him, giving him left jabs and over hand rights, and upper cuts all over his body while he's gasping for air. No thanks.

I don't care to see Golota get blown out in the first rnd before he gets a chance at his low blows.

Thompson vs Dimitrenko sounds like an interesting fight tho.. :good

Exactly as I see it. Thompson is no great shakes, but compared to the stationary and muscle-bound Briggs, he's Sugar Ray Leonard.

Dimetrenko-Golota is a bit of a mismatch. Golota might be able to beat bums like McBride these days, but anybody better than that, fuggedaboutit!!

Is Dimitrenko so good he will destroy Golota a la Brewster?

Nah, that's not his style. He's a straight-upright euro-style boxer with a nice quick jab & a bit of power.

So he is rather the one which cannot hurt Golota too fast.
Does he have good boxing skills and chin?

I feel that Golota would have a good chance of winning against Dimitrenko, who's always panicking when under pressure. Dimitrenko doesn't have any real power and Golota has looked great in his last outings when facing fighters with little power, i.e. Ruiz, Byrd.

Briggs al´ways has a puncher's chance but would likely lose a UD against THompson.
