Getting a wee bit ahead of himself isn't he?

Despite the 'maybe' which I think referes more to the choice of venue, rather than the possibility he might actually lose to that Quasi-German fella.

Ha nah I thiink the 'maybe' was him trying not to be as arrogant as people believe he is.
Leave him be :-)

The lad will never learn

I doubt he will be at 140 or too long as there are only so many light punchers . Even a light puncher seems to cause him trouble so I reckon Mallinaggi would beat him. Paulie is a soft puncher but he hits harder than some of the fighters who have floored Khan already and he is easily as fast as Amir too.

I hope Khan v Hatton gets made should Amir pick up the belt. For some reason people on here seem adversed to that fight but I think it would be a great event.

Agreed. I think he was also trying to soften the blow for people who bought tickets but can't make it to Manchester on the new date.

i dont think Khan makes a 1st defence, Ortiz is fighting for the interim on the 27th June and Fwank wants none of that. Could fight at the 02 for IBF lightweight title vs the winner of Angulo-Romanov though.

Some boxers says things out of extreme confidence

like Naz

"I've already won all I have to do is turn up", etc, etc

But with this comment I just think Khan has let it leak out cos he is thick

Its a sign that he is just assuming the script is he wins

He underestimating the guy

I think Khan is in for a reality check

One bad performance doesn't make a bad fighter, even Malignaggi would shatter that glass jaw Khan has.
