Khan's got 3 extra weeks of waiting and light training for his July 18th World Title fight.
How will Dr.Roach go about it in terms of training Khan?
Could the break have an effect on Khan's physical condition and mental mind set?
Will he do some light sparring?,
Making 140, how will he hold the fighting weight if Khan was already near making the weight? for example eat more, train more or eat controlled train light.
Khan is flying back to L.A. to train out there again.
In the end who will benefit more out of this extra 3 weeks Khan or Kotelnik? who will miss some sparring and maybe training all together because of his tooth infection and medication.

Interesting mate. If kotelnik is struggling to make weight this may have an adverse effect on him as may not being able to spar, he may lose some sharpness. On the other hand, Khan seems a nervous kinda lad to me so will it effect him having to wait longer. He should be staying in the uk and needs to thank his lucky stars that Pacquiao isn't training as Roach wouldn't be able to stay thats for sure.

Yep great point Khan is lucky that Manny has got no fight soon, otherwise Dr.Roach might of not been around for these extra 3 weeks or in his corner on fight night.

Yep. I would have expected him to have been there for the fight but Khan could do with someone like him around all the time to...
1. Keep him away from this little celebrity thing he falls in over here in the UK
2. Keep up his training methods
3. just give him advise and keep him calm

I doin't think it'll be a drama. It's at 140 so easier for Khan to make the weight than usuall.Probably just a matter of tapering down at the right time and reducing the intensity of his training at the right time

Just reading on Sky Sports, Khan will be flying back to Wild Card for 'second' build-up training'
All this flying and time change cant be good for him.

Jet lag isn't supposed to be good but he should get over it easy enough. He's a pro.He should adapt to the new enviroment.Get his sleep pattern and that sorted.

He's a young guy in the prime of life. He should be fine.

I've made the trip over the pond a couple times and the time differences aren't as dramatic as places like Austrailia, (6 hours on the Eastern Seaboard, or is it5? Fuck can't remember in my old age :( ) and I don't think he will have too much of a problem.
I think this will no doubt help Khan more then Kotelnik who is obviously not gonna do much sparring with a tooth infection, Khan in effect is going to get another camp with Roach before fighting Kotelnik hence I see it as nothing but a good thing. He visibily improved his defence against MAB (yeah, yeah, yeah, he got cut, I know!) and this will just be more knowledge and top class sparring for the lad.
If anything for Khan, it's a good thing, at 22 he doesn't have to be in any rush to fight, the extra time "in class" should do him a hell of a lot of good. It's just us fight fans who are disappointed, Haye, Khan and PBF fights we all have to wait on :( And these next 2 months were meant to be the most unusual of things; a boxing summer! LAME!

It must be a bit unsettling for Khan but shouldn't be a factor and certainly not used as an excuse.

A true athlete should benefit. Khan should be in great condition. Apparently he trains hard so don't want him to keep fatiguing himself in training. It's his coaches job to ensure he is ready for a hard 12 rounds.

he still has three weeks so i don't think the flying would affect him that much. I think it will be better than staying in bolton !

It doesnt matter if it is 3wks or 3months, he is going to lose this fight anyway, and do you know why, because the arrogant Khan has once again looking beyond this fight like he has already won it, and is planning defending it at the o2, Khan has certainly taken his eye off the ball, in fact he has kicked it out of the ground imo, he is one arrogant cunt and i cannot wait for him to be brought down another peg, it is ok talking about defending your belt after you have won it, but to do so before the event shows a complete and utter direspect towards the defending champion, he deserves all that he gets that is bad when he steps through those ropes, Twat...

XOBORP - get a grip FFS he said "I'd still like to fight here, maybe for my first defense?" You either din't know that or are taking it well out of proportion. So now a boxer who is confident in his own abilities is a Twat. Your a fucking moron !

Khan was trying to cheer up his London fans who were looking forward to seeing him fight at the o2 thats all, why do people read so much into his comments? was he ment to say when i lose to Kotelnik, dont worry London fans I will be fighting next at the o2 vs some bum.
Chill out mate, you might live longer

You sir are a fucking moron. I've high lighted the first "sentence" (you know full stops don't kill you) as it is probably the worst attempt at an insult in the history of mankind.
Moving on:
Khan's comments are obviously to appease the disappointed fans in London before they start turn round and blame him for the arena change (just before you start Jacko is there when the new fight will take place), if you can't see this then clearly you know fuck all about PR, boxing and well real life.
And you wanna talk about disrespectful:

That's disrespectful but I bet my last dollar you didn't give a flying fuck if and when you ever read that (expecting you to have read is a stretch but we can all have dreams can't we? You dream of Khan getting knocked out and I dream of a world without morons but unfortunately only one of them will happen in our life time). Amir Khan since being knocked out has shown himself to me at least to be a nice kid, doing charity work, opening a gym for kids in Bolton and helping them out, his interviews have been ambitious but I can't blame him for that, if I was an above average boxer I'd say I want to be World Champion and gain as much money as possible in process (after all it's a JOB) and you have to admire the lad saying he must face Prescott again to avenge his loss (I know you won't because obviously you just hate the guy).
In conclusion: All boxers talk shit, you're a moron and I hope you get hit by a bus, never having had a chance to multiply and spread those pathetic gene's of yours.
