Just heard on another forum Geale vs Dawson is on for the vacant IBO Junior Middleweight Title.
If this is true, then what a fight it shall be.
Geale better watch his chin early, but he probably does have the superior boxing skills.

as i said in another thread as of yesterday dawsons coach who is also mine said he has kickboxing fights coming up so he is busy for the rest of the year, i will ask him again tonight to see if anything has changed

IBO title is a joke, I hate it. It hurts boxing and these are not real world title fights.

I agree, Geale hasnt got that killer instinct, he has lost confidence in his chin I reckon.

In my criteria for skill however I still say Geale is better schooled boxer.

what is the difference? money? they all are just business names. wbc, ibf, wba. they stand for nothing except m.o.n.e.y. the dream is for 1 title for 1 division. and only 8 divisions. aint gonna happen. all boxing organisations suck.....but if not for them, fringe boxers would get paid less. more champs, more contenders...etc.why can't we dream

I just can't understand dawson. he is an absolute warrior in the kick boxing world yet in boxing he fails to step up. I have seen nearly all his boxing fights and say 10 of his kickboxing and they are 2 different guys- other than the obvious.

make no mistake he pulled out of the first fight against geale and that is why his trainer christian left him. I actually think he wins this quite easy if his head is right. geale won't hurt him and we have already see geale dropped 4 times as a pro so he is there for the taking. he has carried on about being a joint two fighting style world champion- well its time to step to the plate!

Hey man no disrespect but just wondering how your stamina is, seems you hit the weights pretty hard even for a heavyweight.

Also do you think Dawson can take shots to the body, a guy at a gym i used to go to dropped him in sparring and he wasn't a one punch sort of guy.

my stamina was bad when i first turned pro, mainly due to poor training, i have slimmed down a bit now but have a professional training team and stamina is not a problem, i am a built up heavy i do the weights to keep muscle mass while training, its about finding the right balance, im smaller than sam peter and a few others my height so i think its ok to be at my weight

I will probably go watch if i dont have any plans,being a penrith boy im stoked some good boxing is coming our way.
