Simple question.

We have had our fair share of complaints at the coverage of boxing on Sky.

So I would like to know the views of the forum on the other sports that Sky cover.

Personally, I think the cricket coverage is the best.

They have objective commentators, insightful presenters and the quality and range of camera work is excellent. They also cover plenty of international matches, down under, the subcontinent and in the Windies.

After that, you get rugby union. Again, a wide range of matches to view, a good quality 90 minute weekly magazine show and objective commentators.

IMO - other than boxing, their football coverage is the worst. I love Soccer Saturday, but some of the other coverage is so biased in favour of 'the big 4' it is cringeworthy. Martin Tyler may well be wearing a Manchester Utd kit during his stints in the combox!

Gotta be football for me, they cover La Liga, German league, not sure about the Italian league, the Prem through to the Conference, they cover international, champs league, hell Sky Sports News should be renamed to Football News and they have talk shows (Soccer AM/Goals on Sunday and that round table thing before it) all dedicated to football although cricket is a very close second, I don't think anyone covers football as well as Sky.

The football coverage is very extensive, I'm a regular watcher of Sunday Supplement and Goals on Sunday.... but I'm talking about quality rather than quantity and the overall package.

The commentators and pundits are biased
A lot of the games are snoozers

etc

etc

I completely agree, aside from boxing I am a cricket nut and their coverage is miles ahead of everyone else's. Other than that, the footy coverage is alright but can be a bit OTT at times. "WHO WINS IN THIS GAME TO SAVE THE UNIVERSE?!!!" "THE BOHEMOTHS OF MANCHESTER TACKLE THE HUNS FROM CHELSKI- LIIIIIIIVVVVVVVVE!!!!" Chill out, Richard Keys. Lol.

Apart from that blue nose cunt Andy 'game well n truelly over' Gray, the footy is 2nd to none. The quality of the boxing is pretty good...quantity shite. As for the other sports, I'd rather stick forks in my eyes.
