Should be a good fight. I think Cameron will get the win, he's been far more active, to say the least.

Tua is going to destroy cameron within 2 rds.

Forgot about this...If Tua has absolutely anything left he should paste Cameron all over the canvas.
But he looked terrible in his last few fights...and that was over 2 years ago now.
Shane should probably be favoured...but Im counting on Tua being worse then he was against Hawkins and Wheeler. If he isnt, then maybe we have a fight.

a good fight i think, god i wouldnt like backing against tua ever, the man is a beast no matter how past his prime the man can definately wack and with cameron getting cut easy i see tht theres a chance what tua send might be true "this will be your last fight, im going to retire you" would be brave backing against him..

I'm of the belief that Tua is one of the most overrated Heavyweights of the last 10-15 years. JMO.

Im looking forward to this scrap. I am under the impression that it will produce a good old fashioned war. I am a huge Tua fan, so I will be rooting for him. Can't yet say who will win though...

Ippy I'm by no means a tua fan but cameron hasn't had a fight that has prepared him for the power that tua brings. And overrrated is a bit harsh. Maybe failure to reach expectations is better. Tua's performance against lewis was dismal but his 15 sec annihilation over huggy bear ruiz, his war with Ike even though he lost, was a great fight, koed moorer in 1 rd, beat & drew with rahmann, stopped Oquendo. Again he lost to bryd but cameron's not as tricky as bryd. His resume is better stacked than camerons. I see Tua coming out punching & catching cameron early.

one tua left hook will end the night for cameron if he gets hit flush, power is basically all tua has left

I'm kinda with Roscoe on this one. It's a big step up for Cameron, even at this stage of Tua's career. The Mountain Man cuts far too easily and the defence is a tad pourous - spells trouble in my book, but I guess we need to see what shape Tua comes in at. Anyone here read "Terminated"? Very good read IMO even if the author is a bit too on Barry's side

Have heard of this book but not read it. Apparently there's plenty of behind the scenes pre-fight, post-fight stuff, and good interviews/quotes etc.
Maybe a balance will be struck when Tua writes a book of his own?

Yeah maybe Couldhavebeen - and somewhere in between the two will lie the truth as they say. The book itself is very well written and does portray a less than flattering picture of Tua and his wife.
I met David for the first time at the NZ champs in Timaru after he won the bronze in Barcelona and he is a lovely guy. Kevin did a very good job negotiating his contract with the Duva's and was very savvy in a business sense. It's a shame things broke down between the pair but how often does that happen in boxing?

I'll stand by overrated. He's got some solid wins, no mistaking that, but I don't think he was anything more than a solid contender. His apathy to getting his waistline under control has been his downfall IMO.

His management dramas certainly hindered some prime years as well.

Yeah I was thinking tha same thing watching the video.
Tua said he was ready to fight right now.....he looked like he needed to lose several extra pounds if hes going more than 5 rounds.
I think Tua stops Shane before 6 or its Shane stopping David after that.
Can Shane keep him off in the early rounds and stop him landing that huge left hook....thats the question.
