For a little while it was interesting, then it just went down the shitter. What gives?

Only exciting when world reknowned welterweights were passing through.

Tito, Winky, and Shane left it, Vargas became shot, DLH fights once a year.
Cory Stinks entered it.

I think it's pretty good. Dzindziruk could be one of the best boxers around.

But he'll unlikely get a chance to shine against one of the overrated names like Cory Spinks. I'd like to see Karmazin-Dzinziruk, but I don't see King making that fight even though he's doing nothing for Karmazin.

Delahoya should stay there and get some solid wins before he retires.

Becaue everyone's moving down or moving up. After Pavlik, Taylor, and Miranda move up to supermiddle, middlewieight is going to look almost as bad.

James Kirkland is a guy to look out for in this division.

All of the big names either moved up or moved back down...there are still some interesting/good fighters and some good prospects though.

The divisions people really care about are HW, LHW,MW,WW, LW and to some extent, FW. All all the other divisions usually serve as pit stops for really good fighters. As a result, divisions like JMW will be dead for the most part and only have intermittant periods of excitement.
Not enough exciting fighters.

forrest is 36 spinks doesn'y have any pop, and oscar is a part-time fighter. forrest vs spinks or alcine would be good right now.

DLH is also moving down to Welterweight.

Since nobody wants to fight Paul Williams, I love to see him move up and clean up that division. I actually think that he can be the guy that can make Cory Spinks fight.

Williams has a better outlook staying at 147. There's nothing for him at 154, at least right now, and if he goes up I wonder how well he'll be able to move back down.
Down the road, Cintron/Kirkland or Williams/Kirkland could be interesting at 154.
