and yet they had 2 commentators, 2 separate analysts and a presentor, even HBO only have 3 guys doing it all.

Sign of the times, mate. It's happening everywhere and TV isn't free from the bite of the recession; especially channels like ITV who heavily rely on advertising revenue.

A load of balls. They could startup an itv box office channel or something. Atm on itv they have stupidly fast cars whizzing round a track going so quick no fucker can see em, and the brits at the back, no fuckers interested!

i think F1 gets alot more viewers than ITVs boxing, hence the reason there boxing is on ITV4 ,

Yeah but the F1 is not on a prime time slot.

God forbid that boxing promoters actually promote fights instead of selling their garbage to tv and collecting both on both ends(tv and live gate).

Which emphasises my point more-so its not in a prime time slot and still gets higher ratings than most boxing matches!
The point shown when nobody picked up the live broadcast of froch vs taylor, Britains only world champ and it wasnt televised, very poor state, there arent many other mainstream sports where a british champion wouldnt be televised some way or another ie terstrial or sky etc

think he was refering to that touring car racing or whatever it is, that they still show on ITV4.

they're pulling the plug at the end of the year before the 2 year contract with henny is complete.
any shows put on before the end of the year will be shown including the cleverly card

how much would they have saved if they just had rowling commentating and presenting with duke and barry co-commentating and barry doing post analysis, and got rid of that roving reporter and 2 or 3 others
what i don't get aswell is why television companies continue to sign long contracts with promoters instead of getting it on a fight by fight bases, long contracts give promoters the license to take the piss with poor match-ups and undercards.

Higher than most on ITV4, not the rare shows that are shown on ITV1 like Froch or Khan in the past.
